  1. the project car is running 320bhp and it has been for a good 5k or more now,
  2. if it all comes down to cost,and you have the money spare to do the 2jz-gte then go for it,mind you the gearboxes go for a far bit of wedge.but if money is a factor in things and 300bhp would be a nice number to have pushing your is200 then turboing the 1g-fe is a good lot.
  3. why not turbo your std 1g-fe and get the same power as a std 2jz-gte.
  4. turbo it !mines turbo'd they are so much better than a S C as you are not on boost all the time,also you save so much more fuel with the turbo and another thing you can go further with the tuning.from the level im at all i need to do is get some big injectors and a remap and i have over 300bhp out of the std engine. the thing im getting at is that i think you will soon get bored with the power level of a S C as we all know power is adictive.
  5. hi there the 1gfe std engine will take more than 0.9bar spc project 550bhp car is running 1bar @ 330bhp thats been running for 5000 miles also has been bounced off the rev limiter.i think the plan is to get 350bhp probally with about 1.2bar.then i think the boost is going to be turned up till the engine dies. thanks jamie

  7. hi there i have one of spc turbo kits and all i can say is that its the nuts. you get so much for your money,if you compare it to the supercharger kit the power diffrance is out of this world. i think the supercharge ones could just get 220bhp,stage1 turbo kit is 250bhp,and then all you need to do is get the stage2 kit which is bigger injectors and a remap and you are over 300bhp,and this is still on the std engine. im waiting for my bigger injectors so at the min im on 250bhp but boy dose it make a diffrance the car just comes alive. mine comes on boost at about 4000k which is nice as you can drive around town and it is still a lexus but then let it rev over 4000k and all hell brakes loose.i get the noise from the screamer pipe and the chatter from the turbo then the dump valve. as i say the car has come alive by doing this i highly recommend it. thanks jamie
