Well yes i can organise a lexus and Toyota class and mabey sort out a few prizes. The only reason i thought of pod is coz they have a drag strip and as the track i was gonna use have cancelled all events it was the first one to cross my mind So i thought weekend/beer/music/show/draging

Hya, In light of the recent events involving a track i was going to use for the first race wars I am thinking of holding the first event at Santa Pod, as you may or may not know they only have a drag strip so the event would include Drag racing, show and shine and anything else i can think of , Possibly a weekender but i nee to see how many are interested before i make any plans Please post your interest here Cheers

Already done it :) im waiting on the info ive requested and from what ive been told so far for 12 cars on the track at anyone time for 5 laps its going to be just over 5 grand, im looking at having a weekender with an overnight stay but from what they say all the weekends are taken up so its going to have to be a week day , is that any good to anyone?

yeah the thing about donnie and places like that is they charge a small fortune for hire , donnie wanted over £8000 for 1 day of hire Plus id have to pay Public liability which could be another 8 Grand possibly more, Thats why Avon was great cos i could have had that for a weekend for only £4800 and they provided marshals, crash helmets and radio's As ive stated before im trying to make this as cheap as possible for people so thats why im trying to find a Cheap track , What would you accept as a Good ticket price?

Yeah well i want it to be a General market , ive just started an affiliate with Direct line They gave me a Great insurance deal with an accident under my belt But sponsorship is the one i need

Well so far it looks like I will be responsible for public liability as i am the organiser, which is a bit of a pain in the ***** cos im trying to keep the cost down, if you have any ideas please let me know coz thats a bill i would rather not have to pay but i cannout have an event without it for my own sake really to protect myself as an organiser. I woulld like to get sponsorship to help with this so that i can keep the ticket prices down but i dont really know who would be a suitable sponsor. And traders? Like what? i dont understand
