A bit toned down would be welcome (the one in the video is a bit too flash) but just so long as they dont go making it into a SEAT look-alike :shruriken:

Thats a good thing though- imagine trying to drive or park with them, like trying to look through a keyhole...

Hi All, Just saw the video of the new Lexus LF-Ch *** HERE ***. I have to say it looks amazing and if the actual car ends up looking even remotely like the concept car I would seriously consider splashing out for one... Assuming the bank will lend me the money at that point in time. It would look stunning in white pearl or black. If the MPG is as good as it should be (being a hybrid) I think it would be a perfect replacement / upgrade from the thirsty IS200. Anyone know how much it is likely to cost (in England or Ireland?) and when it is expected out? -Sean

Ya point taken- dont want to go getting myself any penalty points. Ive blue LED sidelights in at the moment (waiting for white ones to come in the post) and I get nervous everytime I see a Garda car...

As I understood it, the colour and brightness are connected. As in if your light is very purple it does not appear (to oncoming traffic or from your driving perspective) as bright. White light appears the brightest to the eye and as you mentioned, gives the best visibility. Id think that best visibility means most blinding as well...?

Hi All, My 2000 is200 head unit is fortunate enough to have avoided the dreaded Err3 but has another problem. The FM radio does not produce clear sound. You can kind of hear music/speaking but certainly not enough to understand it or listen to it. Its strange because the CD player / AM Radio / Grom unit sound is perfect... Has anyone else come across this problem? Cheers lads Sean

Hi- I was on a tour (as part of interview) in the only refinery here in ireland. I asked if all the petrol was the same or if the different brands were slightly better or worse. Answer I got was that they all get the exact same petrol into their various tankers (you could see all the tankers- Shell, Topaz, etc- lined up in what looked like an oversized filling station topping up). He did say that beyond that point they have no control and the various brands / garages might add something into the fuel (such as shell's v-power one) but that alot of the major additives used by companies in the past are now illegal. Also it would be very costly if they were to add enough of something into it to actually make a difference... He said he always just went for the cheapest one he could find!

Anybody tried any of these? Fogs / Dipped Option A and Option B Main Beam Sidelights Thinking the 'bluevision' ones in sidelight, dipped and main beam with the yellow ones in the fogs- would that look rubbish or good?

Exactly my thoughts! But yes, I was hoping they would be just a little bit blue, like with HIDs... but unfortunately they look like something thats more suited to a corsa etc :/ Reckon il change to bright white LEDs instead and get a HID kit for my fogs. Anyone got this setup?

Hah, that explains why every car I've seen at the side of the road abandoned / written-off over the last 2 weeks has been a BMW or a merc!!

Possible CV joint needing replacement??? Not sure at all on this, my last car (a civic) had those symptoms and changing out the CV joint on the side the noise was coming from did the trick...
