  1. might be easier to see if any other members willing to swap a non spoiler bootlip of the same colour with you?
  2. i think white is quite tricky, works only on certain alloys too, may be not on the lexus 5 spoke 17s nice s14!
  3. Thanks guys, i do agree with Rory, standard silver looks tidy on Green. Thanks Besty for your photos, i have the same 5 spoke alloys, gunmetal looks great too and bit more discreet, btw envy how shiney your bodywork is! what about white as general suggested? is it 'too much' on green?
  4. i had a quote recently from newcastle dealer for all belts + water pump change all in for 499 vat inc., and they can pick up the car and drop off wherever, so your quote is quite sensible
  5. 29.6mpg IS200 manual with occasional a/c - 70% motorway 30% town
  6. What other alloy wheel colours kensington green owners have on their rides? im getting mine refurb in 2 weeks time. but green is such a difficult colour to match anything else apart from factory silver? thought about bronze but the bloke said, if you kerbed it, the crack would turn black very quickly. so far i can only think of anthracite? i had white deep dish wheels on green cars before but the lexus alloys pattern doesnt suit white any suggestions would be much appreciated!
  7. i have used those off the shelf products a few times, but they don't seem to work dramatically, however forte does the trick in my opinion. only available to trade but can be bought from ebay. with the same driving style and route, my mpg goes from 27.7mpg to 29.8mpg, 83000 miles engine another tip, never ever use supermarket fuel, you defo get less mpg with supermarket fuel comparing to normal fuel from Shell, BP etc..
  8. yes they are the same i believe
  9. Cheers guys for the advice. what about the rear differential filler hole? can't find it in the online manual, but i vaguely remember it can be accessed from the offside rear wheel arch?
  10. thanks for the reply guys? so is it do-able with a pair of axle stands on the passager side?
  11. can someone point me to where the gearbox filler hole is please? can i access it from the engine bay or need to crawl underneath the car? Thanks!
  12. ahh thanks for clearing this ;) apologies
  13. looks like a replica to me. the genuine TTE has headlamp jet washers??
  14. independent garage quoted me 437 parts and labour for cam belt, water pump and all accessory belts
