I believe Android Auto is still only usable wired whereas Apple Carplay is wireless on the 23MY.

Go into menu then settings on steering wheel, this should be a settings toggle -Then select vehicle settings -Oil Maintance -Hold and reset

My previous Lexus had its cruise cut out as soon as the wipers went full speed. I initially thought it was faulty but it is by design.

I had a call from the dealer which included the sales guy i dealt with and his manager a week after purchase. I never received any calls from Lexus head office. No real issue in my case as my experience was satisfactory. However, had it not been this way i would have liked to have had my say.

You shouldn’t need to stop to turn it off. Just press and hold the button until it disengages.

There shouldn’t be any penalties. I believe you have to pay a minimum of 56 days of interest when taking out a finance agreement with Lexus. I settled my finance before making the first payment. But as said above, check your agreement documentation.

May i ask if one can change the units from bar to psi on the lexus screen?

If a loan car isn’t really needed and it’s just a means of getting home from the dealer, I’ve been offered a pick up and drop off service for £10. They usually pick your car up leaving a cheap Toyota and bring yours back when ready. The Toyota isn’t available to use though.

I have the ML and the USB can be used with Flac.

Having started this thread I ended up getting 30 litres of fuel. Cant say i was too thrilled considering various dealers offer a full tank. But horses for courses, i did get a good deal on the list price.

What adaptors are members using? There appears to be a huge selection on the market right now - all claiming to be the most reliable. I may buy one at some stage when i work out how to conceal it in the cup holder with the tray down. One thing that has been mentioned on other forums is the inability fir the adaptor to switch from day and night modes automatically. Anyone experienced this?

Hello all I’m due to pick up my brand new ES next week and was wondering how much fuel should I expect in the tank as part of the handover. Some manufacturers stipulate an estimated amount as part of the delivery cost but I can’t find any information with Lexus. How much fuel have new owners been afforded on here?

That sounds different to my issue as mine occurs at all speeds. Have Lexus replaced the track rod end?

I don't think they've any extended drive of the car. I was told to have the two front tyres changed before going ahead with an alignment and I'm tempted to have the tyre place do the work as it's much cheaper :-) I'm just afraid that my tyres will wear unneccasarily if the alignment doesn't fix it. Do your steering problems sound similar to mine?

I've recently had some rear speakers from the Mark Levinson system replaced in my 07 IS250 by my local Lexus dealer. Apparantly they have replaced one of the tweeters in the rear door and the parcel shelf mids and sub due to some crackling. Before I had problems with the speakers, they sounded fantastic and the bass response was amazing even on a flat EQ. Having had the car returned with new speakers the sound is much flatter and shows less bass, particularly in the mid range. It's as if the cross over points aren't the same and that the sound is more prominent at the front. All the sound settings are set the same on the headunit. Could anyone share any advice on how the ML kit is put together and whether there are any settings / configurations that have to be set to make it sound richer. I understand it has a ML amp in the rear powering the whole system. Is this configurable or is it simply a slot in? My warranty ends in April so I'm keen to get this sorted before then.

This sounds very similar to experiences with my car. I've had my 2007 IS250 for about 9 months now and there's always been something not right with the steering. It didn't feel right over certain camber and would occasionally lurch to the nearside so you had to hold on to the steering wheel tighter that you would expect. I recently had to replace a rear tyre due to a nail lodging into the side wall. When on the ramp I was called in to view the front tyres - both of which had completely warn on the inside. The tracking was done and found to be 3mm out. Driving back I noticed it appeared a little better but not as good as some courtesy cars I'd driven. Having phoned Lexus it was suggested I take a full wheel alignment (£95 + VAT) but now wonder if I've the same issue with the original poster. I need to get it sorted before my extended warranty runs out.

Hi there, as I haven't got a manual for the available voice commands for my Lexus IS 5th Gen Nav system I have been looking around the web for hints on how I can set a new destination whilst driving. Looking at some US sites it appears that I have to speak the command "address" to start the address input but I can't get this to work. Is this command available on the UK cars? Or is there another command that instigates the destination entry? All advice appreciated Thanks Nigel

Hello everyone, this is my first post as I'm about to become the proud owner of a 2007 Lexus Approved 250 SE with Nav & ML. I can't wait!!! During the test drive I noticed that the Nav disk was not inserted. I asked the sales guy if they would supply the latest Nav disk with the car to which he replied "Yes". I was wondering if anyone here could tell me how I find out which disk is inserted via the menu? Does the 2007my come with the 4 disk set? I also negotiated the install of the Lexus Ipod kit. Does anyone have any experience of this? Is there a limit to the number of songs within each playlist? Thanks for your help. Nigel
