ps hows the mota
built my own system asrock mainboard, AMD xp 2000 proccessor, 1GB sdram Muse lt sound card, prophet 3 video does what i want. also have a time laptop with xp2200,256mb all on home network.
i think i'll go before the attention tuns to me
must admit i cant see the point of modding a corsa or saxo etc myself but then most people wouldnt see the point in spendig £12,000+ on making a corolla go like stink either
yep top company. somtimes takes time to get through on the phone.
loz what do you mean "a fair bit" evereything bar exhaust and wiring has come from there so they have had a hell of a lot to do with my car :P . just need to get that sponsership deal now
i guy i knew a while ago got scammed by the pikey's with his driveway. same thing pay the price or you WILL pay the price. so he coughed up found out where they were camped an took some mates and burned three pikey trucks out, then legged it quick. dont agree with criminal damage exept damage to criminals
its not always the case of double the horsepower half the time its all down to traction weather driver reactions etc. quite a respectable time zee. after all the IS isnt exactly a light car to get moving so good effort. pity the rolla is off the road or i'd have gone and had a go. oh well have to wait till 12th october for a showdown at the pod
loz dont forget that NOS cools the inlet charge too. quite a lot of people who run forced induction use it in small amounts as a coolant for the inlet charge but it gives the added benifit of more power too. i'm looking at it for ten of the best next year
not sure about W/I on a N/A. gives most benifit an a forced induction engine as you can use higher boost without detonation occuring. as compressing air causes an increase in air temps forced induction engines are more responsive to W/I. on a N/A engine relocating the air box and or insulating the induction tract and supplying cold air will give the same benifit at less cost.
side effects of W/I? none unless you inject too much as it causes accelerated bore wear as the water scratches the bores if not properly atomised.
if you are installing a W/I kit then install a seperate water tank in the boot or behind a wing. dont be tempted to use the washer bottle as screen wash doesn't do the system much good.
pure methanol however is very good mixed up to a 50/50 methanol/ water mixture (dont use more than 50% methanol. this give improved in cylinder cooling and also acts as an octane booster.
just my 2p worth
