Couldn't find a backbox anywhere (short of remortgaging with Lexus ;) ) Got it welded up by Trickett Welding in Poole, great guy who knew what he was doing. All quiet again and happy Cheers Phil

HI Folks I've noticed my Sportcross becoming ever so slightly louder this last month and today it got loud - had a look underneath and the back box flange had separated from the pipe where it connects to the middle section. Phoning the usual suspects for a replacement turned up dry (I've not tried Lexus yet) apart from an IS300 backbox on Ebay. My question is this - will the IS300 backbox fit the IS300 sportcross or is it a different part? And if so any suggestions where I can try for a replacement? Thanks in advance, Phil

Just had a look at mine - the lower of the three sections is slightly forward, yes. It is the sections that hinges for the seat to fall forward. I had a quick test, and although not awful, I can understand why she might moan on a long journey. Time to pop a pillow in for long journeys? ;) Hope this helps, Philly
