  1. yes from is200 to is250 with all mods declared. I will put some pictures Saturday when I finish polishing and waxing :)
  2. Thanks everyone for your suggestions, that was very helpful. I never knew you have to use so many car cosmetics. After future research I will be trying Meguiars products (for start): Gold Class Car Wash Cleaning Shampoo Conditioner Lambs Wool Wash Mitt Ultimate Compound Scratch & Swirl Remover Ultimate Polish Liquid Formula Ultimate Liquid Wax Headlight Restoration Kit (Mine are a bit cloudy and yellow) Ultimate Interior Detailer Supreme Shine MicroFibre Towel I've also invest in pressure washer, but that's a different story. My GF will kill me if she realize I spend almost £400 on pw and car cosmetics :) But this car is my new love I will put some pictures Saturday if everything arrive on time.
  3. BamBam1 is your car hands free Bluetooth works ok with the Esynic? Has any of you try MultiMediaLinQ, looks like a perfect solution, but is expensive: http://www.vaistech.com/site/mml.php
  4. I've bought new car Friday and it is amazing. It is lowered by 35mm, 19" wheels sport exhaust and ISF body-kit. Insurance went up £28 for the remaining 6 months. With the consumption I will probably know more, next moth. So will let you know guys. Dan, I already have insurance with Admiral, but will try Adrian Flux in January. Thanks
  5. Thanks everyone for your answers. So what other product I shoul use to get wow effect and in which sequence? Sorry I'm completely green in the subject.
  6. i know it is very subjective question, but hoping to get some sugestions of products. I will be buying my is250 tomorrow :) and would like to give it a show look :) not too expensive, up to £40? Any sugestions?
  7. Thanks for your answer guys. ColinBarber is it positive MPG difference?
  8. Hi Guys, I'm planing to modify or buy modified IS250. Would like to ask you what is the cost of having the modified car, I mean insurance, tax, mot. Have this increase much? No engine modification, just the look, bumpers, spoilers, grill, Xenon lights, exhaust tips, shorter springs (35mm possible) and 19 inches wheels. Also because of the 19" wheels, would it affect petrol consumption? Any other costs? Is it much harder to sell it? Many thanks
  9. aly-g, what is the millage you are going for? I seen one lovely white se-l, one owner and full lexus service history, but it have 100k already. Should I consider something like this if the price is good (£6500) or should I spend a bit more and get lower millage. What is the maximum millage you would go for?
  10. Thanks guys for your replays, it makes me rethink my buy again. Like Dean said there is no brand at the moment which makes problem free cars at the moment. I heard Hyundai's are very solid at the moment but I don't like the look of them. I was also looking at BMW series 3 2.0 diesel (mostly for economical reason) but apparently it it the worst engine BMW ever made. Interior looks so poor comping to is250. My is200 have almost 200k mileage and is 14 years old, I think is a time to give him a rest. is200 Newbie, I hope you fix all your problems and will start to enjoy driving your lovely 250 again.
  11. Hi All, I'm a happy owner of a lovely is200. I bought it 6 years ago as my first car, as it looks awesome and for that 6 years I was just changing oil, filers, brake pads, etc ... Car never fail and it have almost 200k on the clock. So it is not a surprise that my next car will be Lexus:) I know already that the only option should be Automatic is250 se-l with Sat Nav and Mark Levinson. But would like to ask you owners of this car what should I check while buying the car. Is there anything that breaks, and could be easy identified, etc ? What is the maximum mileage I should look for? How is the Petrol consumption compared to the is200? Many thanks
  12. Hello All, I'm new here and I was searching for this using your search engine but with no results. I had a horrible smell in my is200, when I turn on the air con. The worst thing that I have allergy to dust and few others. And each time I have on the air con, I have attack of sneeze. I would like to do something about that, I found something like air con cleaner on ebay, also I found the air filter under the glove compartment. But I cant find replacement on ebay. How you call this filter? What else should I do do resolve my issue. Air filter outside? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards
