  6. I originall y got the Helix paddle clutch before the same cluth you have now. The paddle clutch had much more bite to it, but very troublesome in traffic conditions, felt I had to purge up the revs quite a bit or it will feel like judder... I did'nt like it at all, best advise to stick with the helix one you have now... It also works well with the prolex lightweight fly wheel. 7. Should tell you on the sticker either in the door jam or fual flap, i could be wrong on the location. It also depends on load, i.e how many passengers in the car etc.. Double check the guage which you obtained your tyre pressure reading from, most ( but not all ) garage forecourt guages are in-accurate as they are often abused and not re-calibrated. If this is important i'd advise on a good quality digital guage and check the pressures on every re-fill of fuel, I travel an average of 700 per week and always watch mine, as any un-noticed deviation can lead to adverse tyre wear...
  8. Hi Am.. My mate did the same thing a long time ago. Sinmple purchase a UK sat nav disk drive, plug in and hey presto.... .... He sourced his on e bay fairly cheap think's its off a toyota, can find out for sure if required.
  9. Hi Mike, You can defo buy them as a seperate aftermarket kit, it comes with all the bits to fit the existing non arm rest console, even the new pockets etc and fitting instructions. If I can remember rightly, I brought mine from a member here on LOC and it cost me around 220GBP including shipping.
  10. Scarface did a grand job whilst he was there, and yourself also Bazza .... :) I think you should create a new marketing idea for those new bbq tools...You can make a fortune... If you straightened 2 and used them together, they would have made a good set of chopsticks... It was great to see the familuar faces again and also meet a few new faces in the short time I was there.. We still felt very welcome although we came from the BMW owners club ;) and had a great time. I missed last years JAE, but will sure do next years one, But next time round do the whole 3 days...I might even run your entire bbq for ya... ;) since I'm good with the chopshticks. There were some nice cars there, I did like Yemgi's I think it was the colour that did it...But great effort for all those who showed up and to see all the hard work and effort that still goes into making a great car even greater...
  11. Directed to the IS300 owners really, but opinions welcome from others. I realise the overall downside could be fuel ecomomy..... But has anyone ever had any major problems with their IS300? If so what was the problem and how much did it cost to fix and at what milage did te problem occur? Things like auto transmission, are they reliable on high milage is300's etc ?
  12. some look o.k but you pay a premium for them.. Progressive ice just introduced some for porsche,volvo etc... Maybe you should consider buying seperate screens and have them professionally fitted. You'll be surprised on the prices nowadays... ;)
  13. better try and find how a 120AMP fuse blew.... it needs a large surge to take this out...or a short ...
  14. BUMP ... Still no solid confirmation ... :( It may mean me coming up on my todd ... in a . . . 4 wheel car.
  15. Can you add me and the misses onto the list. I am coming on saturday .... prefer to pay you on site... ;) If thats ok?
  16. Errr.. let me think the date in question is next saturday 22nd ... Be nice if your going and you have space for me ... space for me and wife even more dandy but not a must..
  17. Trying to make it this year as I have missed so much. Not keen on the idea of showing up on my own in a non lexus.. Is there anyone out there who I can meet up somewhere and climb into their LEX on the Saturday only ? I would appreciate it, and contribute in the cost of entry, fuel etc... Mr Fargo perhaps? If your not sky diving
  18. I must say .................... That's a top looking motor :)
  19. There are loads of options nowadays to choose from. Choose wisely, as "you only fit once" if your chosen monitor proves to be unreliable and offer a poor image... then you may be stuck with them if they have been "cut" into your headrest. When buying a monitor choose one which offers a "6 oclock viewing angle" when buying a dvd, again choose one which is multi region, the latest stuff allows you to also play Mpeg4/Divx, may be worth considering, also has SD/USB readers etc.. As for the installation, you can get 6.5" monitor in your headrest and utilise the hollow shaft's for the cabling... Consider Digital TV tuner, as they are widely available now for the automotive... look out for diversity so it still works well whilst on the move....
  20. Alex seems a good bloke, I meet him every time I travel to HK. I'm sure things will get resolved. He seemed manic when I last spoke to him.....
  21. New system works on CAN. If you cut these wires you will lose speed sense during navi, which makes it in-acurate. Yes there is a way to do this;;;
