hi all i drive a 06 220d has any body had a flat tyre feeling when turning on full lock also the car being very sensertive to the camber on the road .and while ime here how long does your engine take to warm up and what rpm doese it idle at many thanks

Welcome to LOC mate. I love my 220D. Fuel economy for me on most tanks is averaging around 46MPG which is a shed load better than my beautiful IS200 sport. Had a few niggles and most recent is poor gear change between 1st and 2nd and a grinding/graunching noise like a loose cog or synchromesh problem. It's going in to Lexus on Wednesday this week for a two day check. Already had a new clutch under warranty and no quibbles. Overall, I think the 220D is cracking car. Lovely to drive and so comfortable with toys you don't get standard on other cars in it's class. Enjoy your car mate. Col

hi i have recently purchased a 2006 220dsel had a few probs lexus after sales a ok but still have a dogey gear box with that they said its the norm on early models does yours whine a bit in 3rd gear

hi all i have recently got a approved 2006 model 220d sel its a fantasic looking car with great toys,but its got a clunky 1st and 2nd gear and a whining 3rd gear .i have been back to the lexus dealer a couple of times and have been told thats how the gear boxs are on the early models ,has eny body had this problem would love to here eny thing thanks220dtim
