  1. there is not a LC600 but there is a LS600. there is probably quite a high proportion of sport + cars, at the start each dealership was allowed 2 LC"s i i would expect that they went for the top of the range for there demostraters and also added HUD and ML. admittedly i don't drive very far but in the last 3 years i have seen a total of zero LC's on the road
  2. you can adjust the sensitivity somewhere in the depths of the infotainment system,
  3. You can pay anything from £60 up to £200 just for the coating it’s self so make sure you take that into consideration When comparing prices
  4. £800 ish, because the car was new it only needed a stage one preparation, depending on the condition of your paint, and what coating you want put on would determin overall cost
  5. I had mine Ceramic coated from new, three years on it still looks like new, however you must look after it once applied, who ever you get to do it will give you all the information you need. https://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/car-care-blog/new-car-protection/lexus-lc-500-v8/
  6. I haven't got any issues with mine, although i haven't had a alterations in my tracking done. I have always understood that is you let go of the steering wheel that the car will drift left, ( or right in your case as you drive on the right ), this is so if you fall a sleep the car will drift towards the hard shoulder. however the steering wheel should stay straight.
  7. It will depend on what sort of driving you do, if your just driving around town then it may never be completely fully charged, this is because if your drive correctly you will be constantly using the hybrid system, but if you drive on a motorway, were the hybrid system is hardly used then it will charge fully ( 80% max ) in a few miles, although i do believe in perfect conditions it is possible to run the LC at 70mph just on battery
  8. I use Shell V power, why?, I don't really know, I just feel like i should, as i do low millage the cost doest really come into it. My only thought is that because i only do short trips it will help keep the ending clean. On another note, it just passed its MOT, mind you i think they spent more time looking around the car than actually carrying out the MOT
  9. If you have a RC-F, GS-F or LC and its still under warranty Lexus should change the pads for free if you complain about squealing, I had my RC-F and LC pads changed, and did not have any more problems.
  10. I don't no anything about the car but the colour of the interior is fairly common for that colour car.IMG_0833.jpeg.pdf
  11. I agree not really for this country, you need the perfect day, not raining , not cold, so that leaves 2 weeks. the last time i went to Vegas the hire company tried to convince me to go for a Mustang, why i said, so you can have the top down and enjoy the sun, its 110 degrees out there i want the top up and the AC on.
  12. Hi Stuart, here you go, not sure if its the red or blue for the dash cam or even both, i stay way away from electrics. if you need anything else i will be happy to help if i can n
  13. Hi Stuart. the only problem is that i don't know how the cover was removed and i am a bit reluctant to start pulling it about. i could give you the guys number who fitted it, i am quite sure he would help you below is a photo of the pannel and the fuse cover he had to leave off. sorry i can't be more helpful
  14. I had the Thinkware U 1000 fitted, a great bit of kit, ( yes a bit pricey ) very clear 4k front and rear image, fitted perfectly by Sunny at Bromley Car Audio
  15. ill give you a ring in 5 years Barry with a really good deal 😀
  16. No offence taken, and i understand were you are coming from, the LC is my daily drive but i only work 4 days a week, and a 6 mile round trip, I do own another car which i use on occasions when the LC would not be practical, going to the dump, running my 87 year old mum around, shopping car parks. and as i get most local trains for free and 75% off all the others i find it just as easy to go by train.
  17. I think i have decided what to do , but I am just interested to hear the opinions of others, i understand that peace of mind plays a part. BUT would you take out the extended warranty for £2350 for 2 years if..... your car insurance already includes break down cover you car has less than 6000 miles on the clock you only do 2000 miles a year. I don't quite understand why the RC-F is only £995 for 2 years, i would have thought that 80% of the major components are the same I have spoken to Lexus, and at this point in time they don't have any planes to alter the cost.
  18. Richard is correct, it will say it on the unit, it will also have more speakers than the standard unit.
  19. i spent a lot of time looking into trackers, in the end i decided to spend my money on trying to stop the thieves taking the car in the first place,
  20. I don't understand why there is a recall for the fuel pump, my 2015 RC-F was recalled for the same thing, i thought the RC-F and LC have the same engine.
  21. i would rather put a Ghost Immobiliser on it to try and stop them taking it in the first place
  22. looks very busy. https://www.clublexus.com/how-tos/slideshows/flashback-friday-lc-500-gets-rowen-body-kit-612810#restraint
  23. lexus are a bit behind with there infotainment system, try pushing a 8 track in and see if it plays, i bet it does.lol
  24. HI Howard, its a LC, i know I committed on the wrong thread but i have the same warranty dilemma
  25. if they don't do the 2 for 1 ill put the £1500 away, cross my fingers, and create merry hell if anything goes wrong with it.
