  2. hi im having the same problem with my lexus gs300 1995 was running ok till wet weather started since then had a bad missfire had plugs changed and all leads checked and ecu reset but still persisting kevin

Hi i have a bad misfire on my lexus gs300 1995 i have had it into garage and had new plugs fitted all the leads checked the ecu reset and been checked for any air leaks and found none this problem started when the wet weather started could anyone advise me as to what may be the cause im having problems getting a diognostic test done and my nearest lexus garage is nearly 80 miles away many thanks kevin
  4. thanks for reply is it easy to fix or will i need a new alternator UPDATE --wasnt the bearing i had inadvertantly swiched on the air con and the noise was coming from the aircon clutch (think thats what its called ) turned of switch and it stopped the noise

Hi i was driving along in my lexus gs300 1995 and all was well i stopped at traffic lights and when i set of a high piched wurring sound could be heard i stopped again and set of and no sound could be heard when i parked up the noise had returned even when in nutral or park the harder i accelerat highter the wurring noise this seems to be intermitent can anyone advise me as to what the cause is and what the solution may be cheer kevin

  7. its a grating noise everytime the wheel turns round noticable mostly at low speed and seems to be getting louder

Hi i have just joined this site as i am now the proud owner of a 1995 lexus gs300 the problem i have is a grating noise coming from the front drivers side brake/wheel i have been told that it could be solved by having the break pads cleaned could anyone tell me if this is correct if not what could be the cause and the solution many thanks Kevin
