I'm in the US here and am intrested in getting some tips on changing the oil of the 4.0 v8. Is it difficult or pretty straight forward? Is the filter a regular screw on type or special type I will have to pick up from the dealer? I've been under the car before and there seems to be a large plastic cover, will the cover have to be removed or is there an opening where the oil drain plug is? I ask all this because my 4runner is very difficult for me to do myself. The filter is inverted and I have to reach through the suspension to get to it. I usually have it done at the shop because of the mess the inverted filter causes in my garage. I do use mobil 1 synthetic whenever I do the changes, good prices at walmart for anyone who cares. Trying to save the expense of having dealer do perform this. Smokey BTW I LOVE THIS CAR. Keeping an eye out for another one.

I'm in the US and the GS400s have yellow driving lights while the LS400s have normal white lights. Are they the same blubs? If so can anyone tell me what the model is and where I can get some because I think the yellow with HID looks really nice compared to white with HID and the white isnt quite as white as HID so it looks funny. thanks smokey

Is that correct for the Nakamichi system? I forgot to mention my car is a 1998 and the cd magazine is the one that has the sleeves that slide all the way out. If that is the one I see it online for about $20.00 plus shipping which is not bad. thanks smokey

I'm intrested in finding out what cd carts i can use in my changer. I would rather not pay the crazy price at the dealership and buy something else if possible. smokey
