Hi, Just wondered if anyone can give any comments on Lexus Leeds - good or bad. Looking to book my car in for 40k service and MOT and would appreciate any comments on their level of customer care etc.

I had a similar problem on my IS220d when trying to connect my Nokia phone. A friend told me to send all my contacts as "business cards" from the phone. This allowed me to download all my contacts at the same time instead of entering them individually. Probably saved me half a weekend !!!!!!! Let me know if it works.

Hi All, As a new member to this site i am looking for some feadback on a servicing question. I have recently purchased a 3 year old IS220 diesel with approx 3 weeks Lexus warranty left. As a precautionary measure i booked it into Lexus Hull so that they could look over the car and check if any work needed to be done. Whilst the car was in the service bay i got chatting to one of the sales guys about servicing etc. My 57 plate has only done 26K miles and has three stamps in the service book. The salesman tried to sell me their service plan whereby i can buy the next three services on monthly terms and "lock in" the prices today. As my first service due will be the 40K one he said it is a bit expensive as it has some one off checks etc. Altogether the cost for the next three services would be £1070.00 which i thought was a bit steep. Can anyone confirm my suspicions or does that sound about right ? Are Lexus Leeds or Lexus Sheffield any better ? Also does anyone know of any Lexus Independent garages in the East Yorkshire area ?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Just took the car into Lexus Hull for a "once over" as it still has three weeks manufacturers warranty left. Thought i might as well see if anything needs doing. Looks as though previous owner looked after it well. Only thing they did was upgrade the EPU settings to the latest revision. The only other thing that i picked up, which is annoying more than anything else, is a strange "squealing" noise from the dashboard area when putting the vehicle into reverse. The guy at Lexus said that he noticed it and that if i booked it in next week when they had a little more time they would sort it out. Seem to be very helpful - nothing too much trouble. Hopefully this will turn out to be nothing major - anyone else suffer with the "mouse noise" when reversing ????

Hi Everyone, Just like to let everyone know that i used this site as research prior to purchasing my 57plate IS220d SE two weeks ago. Having been a Ford driver for the last twenty years i fancied a change and decided the Lexus was for me. The totally unbiased comments on this site helped me make my mind up and so far i can't get the smile of my face everytime i sit in the drivers seat. Kids and sweet shops come to mind. Anyway hopefully i will be able to tap some of you up for advice and help as and when needed. Looking forward to future chats.
