  1. I have a 57 plate 41,000 mile 220d. If I am in traffic moving constantly and the revs are between 2000 to 3000 at a constant speed the revs start to go up and drop un controllably, or until you increase the pressure on the accelerator or decrease pressure. Lexus say they cant find a problem as there is no error code aaaaagh. Anyone have or had the same problems please let me know as only had the car 2 months and starting to hate it already. Its not my first lexus but my fourth so its not as thought am not used to the type of car. Can anyone shed some light on the prob so I can get it sorted. Its also really slow on moving off and has to have alot of revs to get going. Heeeelp!!!!
  2. Thanks for that info will try the link and give it a go
  3. Does anyone know a good supplier of replacement rear shocks for is220d at a reasonable price as lexus want £350 to supply and fit. ?
  4. I have just had same problem check VSC and engine went into limp mode aaaagghh. tried everything to get it clear no luck. Went to lexus Liverpool. They have confirmed that the catalytic convertor is shot. I have done 85500 with this car and so is out of warranty. Lexus have agreed to replace all relevant parts under the warranty as a good will gesture ( they have had to modify all new cats as they had a problem on originals but did not do a recall and have just waited for the problems to materialise.) Mine is a 220d on a 57 plate. If it happens to you dont take no for an answer its upto Lexus to pay.
