  1. Thanks guys, would seem the mirrors have to be at left or right, works fine now! Thanks all xx
  2. I'm also wondering how you set the mirrors to 'turn down' when you put the car into reverse. I've went through the menu for parking sensors etc but it doesnt allow me to change it from no to yes for the mirror option (which may be the wrong thing!)
  3. And what...? Simple, quick to answer question. Just wondering what peoples averages are. PS, I loved the post on driving to get the best MPG however, I am not 'into' cars as such and alot of it doesnt make sense. The main principle I get and I shall apply those points. I have been conscious of my driving and feel I am not getting the best out of it so will certainly educate myself better! Thank you

  5. Hi all Just wondering what your MPG is?! My 56 plate IS220d SE-L took £97 to fill and I got 10 days out of it so I have become accutely aware of my MPG. I'm getting around 30MPG. Could you kindly tell me if this is normal? A neighbour has purchased same model and advised me that he had his re-mapped (I think this was the phrase) and as a result has gotten a better MPG since...thoughts?
  6. I've found mines 'clunks' slightly on change from 1st to 2nd so I have to be a bit conscious of gear changes! Mines is also a 56. Other than that however I would fully recommend the car, best purchase I've made :) Good luck!
  7. Hi all, All the electrics in my car seems to work fine except the memory seat position, can anyone tell me what the process is for setting it? I assumed I would adjust seat, mirrors etc and then press and hold the first one and it would set it so that when I go in after hubbys been driving I could press that button and it would auto adjust, am I expecting too much from it?!
  8. I'm having the same problem, full leather interior, its driving me mad! Also, I've had the car 7 wks but putting on air con or any heat features lets out an awful smell! I thought it was the previous owner as I've found a few dog hairs and smells like he might have been a smoker but now I'm not so sure...Had it valeted etc and have left it on for some time to try and let it run through but it still smells really bad. Called the garage but they advised as it was not an electrical or mechanical fault there is not much they can do! Any advice?
  9. Hi, I asked the same question and couldnt get a definite answer! good luck with the car, I love mine :)
  10. Jesus *****! Wish I hadn't asked now lol Amazing how a small question can cause such controversy! Going as far as having people being put down for their grasp on the English language, wow! Anyway, firstly I'm female *winks, hi boys* I wonder why one would assume I was male!? (maybe the scot part in my username, for that you are forgiven!). Secondly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my car! Yes it is a diesel, yes I take on board all comments but so far I am nothing but delighted with my purchase. Me + Lexus + Ray Ban Avaiators - the 2 kids in the back = HOT!!! Now be happy everyone!! xxxx
  11. Thanks for the feedback guys! Bought the SE-L before getting chance to read the replies though! Bit concerned at the 'stay away from the diesel' comment :( I'm quite happy with the purchase, picking it up tonight :) x
  12. Hi Guys, Looking to make my first Lexus purchase but there are 2 models I am choosing between. I am told that the IS 220d SE -L is a better car than a IS 220d SE or SR. I do not know what the letters stand for and I am not sure what the differences are between the variants. So far I can find, an SE I, SR & SE - L?!? Please help!! Thank you
