  1. Did you ever sell your spare wheels?

Glad to see you got your problem solved!

  2. Hi there, I took the car in to a LPG conversion garage which my husband has used in the past - they put the car on diagnostics and cleared the valves or jets? Anyway, the red light has now gone and the car drives no problem (cost me £90). It's such a lovely car to drive - smooth and quiet - and I can understand why my husband loved this car so much.

  3. I have an LS430 (2001) belonging to my late husband, which has the red triangle warning light just come ON and VSC? Any idea how much the car is worth with this problem as I need to sell it soon? It had all new ECUs fitted just over a year ago (when we lost the keys ) - the Breakdown Service forced the doors and damaged some ECUs. I also have a spare set of wheels for the LS430 which I was going to have the alloys reconditioned - any idea what they would fetch if I were to sell them?
  4. I have just had the same problem with my late husband's car, LS430 2001 - the red warning light came on together with the Error VSC display. Would be grateful for any advice and just hoping that it will not be a costly job.
  5. Thanks everyone for your help. I was more worried about blowing the ECUs which happened to my car last year (that's another story and not my fault!). I don't know my radio code so I hope it will be OK when I reconnect the battery later today. If anyone has more info on the solar panel recharger, please let me know.
  6. As a result of not using my car for a couple of weeks, the battery went flat. When I recharged the battery in situ, it set off the car alarm, so I took the battery off the car to recharge it. Now when I come to put the fully charged battery back on the car, I would like to know the following: 1) Is it safe to disconnect the battery to re-charge it? 2) Is it possible to blow the ECUs by doing this? 3) What precautions should I take? Any advice would be appreciated.
  7. Please can anyone help me? I need to replace my bonnet and boot struts on my LS430 and cannot find the parts. Is it the same specification as the LS400, does anyone know?
