  1. Hey mate, Here's the color code: 11GY38 & 11GY39 Taken from the IS-F rim spec sheet. The color is the same. Best regards, Denis 6d54817b6806e01795dd80fa49f23e7c.pdf
  2. Because in Bulgaria I cannot find sport pedals for the 2nd gen. However I found a crashed 1st gen with sport pedals and wanted to know if I could use them in my 2nd gen. If I order new ones for the 2nd gen it will cost me a lot just for the looks of something that I step on :)
  3. The title says it all. Are the 1st gen sport pedals the same as the 2nd gen sport pedals? Can I get 1st gen sport pedals and put them on the 2nd gen? They look absolutely the same. Thanks in advance.
  4. There is no option to remap the ECU. You have to install an external box and "feed" the ECU with incorrect readings so it can add more fuel, more boost or advance and etc. Replacing the turbo with a bigger one seems like a good option as the compression ratio is not as high as I thought so you can easily squeeze at least 50 more horsepower without a harm to the internal components.
  5. The pictures are on my camera. I will post them later. But for what I paid for that car I would expect it to be zinc coated and never get rusty, OK not never but not in the next 10 years.
  6. That review was helpful. Thanks.
  7. Hello guys. I just want to complain about something and I think that this is the right place to express my disappointment. Here is the text of the email that I sent to Lexus Europe just a minute ago and it pretty much describes my problem:
  8. Yes, the rear light cover is very easy to remove. I used two of these -> http://www.dealextreme.com/p/car-festoon-2w-t10-100-lumen-white-6-led-vehicle-light-bulb-stainless-steel-dc-12v-13428 And I am very happy with the result.
  9. You should remove the light panel. It took me three days to gather the courage to open it at any cost. The first few times I tried with flat screwdrivers but after I scratched the surrounding plastic I gave up that method. Then I bought from ebay pry tools for opening xbox consoles. I broke the two plastic "guitar picks" and gave up that method as well. Finally I opened it using the two plastic credit cards with no damage to the surrounding plastic. All you have to do is stick them between the light cover and the surrounding plastic (on the side that is closer to the back of the car) so you can release the clips that hold the cover. Once you release the clips just take the cards out and the cover will come down with them. Hope this helps.
  10. 5W30 full synthetic http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=72141 http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=71235
  11. You don't expect the whole tube where the stick goes in to be clean right? The thin marks are from oil that is left in the tube when you take the stick out. The thick layer is what you should look at.
  12. Hi Rumen, Regular credit card should do it, but bear in mind that it is a little thinner than the RFID card and you can easily brake it so you'd better use an expired card :) Cheers
  13. Do not attempt to open the cover with a screwdriver as you will scratch the plastic around the cover. I used two old RFID cards (credit card size) from my work.
  14. Hi Rumen, The 6000K should give more light output (not really but it will look like it) than 8000K. Take a look at that chart -> http://gpix.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/colour-temperature1.gif What puddle LEDs did you use? Have you checked that thread -> http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-second-generation/522483-first-mod-led-puddle-lights-led-interior.html
  15. Tokico makes the OEM shocks for Lexus.
  16. Hi you'd better buy 6000K D4S bulbs only (Philips or Osram - take a look at this thread http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=72360). No need to change the whole kit as it will not worth it.
  17. The Navi units have different firmware versions for Europe and US thus the maps are incompatible. I am talking about the version without the HDD. If I was you I would contact a Lexus dealer and ask. Let us know what they told you. It is a useful piece of info.
  18. This is what is recommended. What they put is another story. Check out this thread: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=71235
  19. Could someone tell me what are the specifications of the IHI turbocharger fitted on the IS220d? A/R? Turbine size? A turbo map would be helpful as well.
  20. 1st they are not angel eyes. 2nd, yes, they they are compatible 3rd they cost a fortune - http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/Exterior/IS250-2007/2411.html
  21. IMHO it looks worse than OEM Xenon. I love the white paint though.
