Thanks again people ! as for snow + lexus = no way tried to drive my dads old IS200 couldnt get up some roads even with newly fitted michelin tyres at the time & the snow switch on the auto didnt help or do anything either so the car sat on drive way covered with thick snow sinces tues, damm i forgot what my car looks like lol :)

Thanks for feedback, yeah i staying away from non toyota branded ones they look gd but from experience rubbish reception! i saw few Altezza ones on ebay usa (not tried ebay uk yet) claims there genuine toyota parts at reasonble price, well i gonna search for rav4 & iq ones dont know what they look like.

Are short antenna from the JDM Altezza reception any good ? i read somewhere theres a reason for diffrent style of antenna for the export IS200/300 & the JDM Altezza ? and according to lextasy.com the JDM antenna is better reception. I know from experience a short antenna(aftermerket) reception was rubbish on one my previous car so i changed bk to OEM. Cheers

Yes thats the seller ! erm i checked prices of some bits from lexus, the alloy kick plates costs £90+ it much imo, havent checked the alloy pedal prices so guess thats next then ! i wouldnt of thought from experience car dealer lower prices of parts tbh, i use to own a 96 mazda 323f & even at the time it was 2002 parts was rediculously expensive & i heard some yrs fter that they still were ! however i did buy a grille recently that costs £40 & a OEM front spoiler £140 the real deal thats cheaper than a fibreglass replica from replikit.com costing £150+ OMG never thought i see the day!!!!!

Wow looks good, looks very weird if you left the exhaust as it is which the IS250 bumper ha ha.....i hope you not getting the jdm window visors from lexus, i asked about them for a mate, didnt think lexus UK had them or able to get them & before i know it , it showed up on computer, £410 + !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WTF OMG??!!! was shocked!!!

Also does anyone have a Trust - Greddy intake & know if a strut bar or a certain one fits it, like this pic here i 'think' is a Trust - Greddy item ! Cheers.....

Sounds good :) i guess that pic is yours on your avater ? i recently bought a is200 its a SE early 2004 did look at a LE but the price the car dealer wanted was bit much & when i got back from holiday it was sold & £500 cheaper than price i saw !:( shame sure it got few extras over the SE i got ! sound like you like your jap cars, 5 crx :) my last 5 cars was japanese 2 mazda 323's, a nissan almera, a civic coupe & a toyota corolla :)

For those buy bits upgrade/aftermarket etc for the is200/300 is it good idea to buy abroad such as ebay usa ? i seen some second hand items for the is200/300 a seller cant remember which one sells lots of steel kick plates at gd prices & also lots of alloy pedals but there all auto shame as i got manuel :( & lots of other second hand original replacement items big or small :) as you know they cost x amount more at lexus !

Hmm Its a choice of Eibach and Tein (s-tec) springs, had eibachs some yrs ago on my old Civic Coupe was happy with but are Tein brand any good ? i dont want coil overs unless i need to change the shocks !which brings me to my next question the car is coming up to 49k miles, i guess its still original shocks never replace would it be ok to use them shocks ? as a car reachs certain age/mileage is advisable to change the lot ? or anyone suggest other brands, as much as i heard H&R are gd well had them on a mazda 323 it lowers the but not as descirbed, wasnt really impressed so thats a no.....

Hi all owned a IS200 SE for 2 month now, already started some work on it, prob gona stop till it gers warmer so after new year it is then! lol Wanted a sport but didnt find one readily for sale so the SE instead just as happy with ! well looking forward to going through some posts & ask some questions soon :) ciao for now !
