  1. There is a new app lexus link +. Have you tried that? In my case the all the issues with missed journeys etc seem to have been fixed
  2. I was just "invited" to join the talk to lexus "programme". For a brief moment I thought this might be in response to the comments on the forum about Lexus failing to engage with customers about the problems with the new NX. I now see the talk to lexus programme has been around a while. The latest survey on the site is from over 4 years ago - perhaps they really have given up talking to customers!
  3. Can you remind me whether you have complete failure with connected services or the standard intermittent issues? I do think the fundamental problem is that Lexus seem to be clueless/ uninterested in diagnosing the real source of the problems we have … imho it is almost certainly a software issue but I’m not aware of any customers being involved in trying to really diagnose and fix it.
  4. I don’t believe it is a permissions issue because this would result in it never working rather than being intermittent. I don’t know which network operator Lexus use but I don’t believe it is a communications coverage issue because a) the software should retry on failure and send data when it next connected and b) when the history is not updating I’ve still been able to connect to the vehicle to turn on heating / cooling. I have wondered whether the flat battery problems that some people have had could be related to communications as it would seem likely that the communications was powered from the 12 v supply and in fault conditions/ this could drain the battery if not implemented carefully. Whatever it is, it is such a shame that Lexus seem uninterested in diagnosing and fixing the problems.
  5. I don't think it is really is the app that is the problem. The car updates central servers in the cloud and the app/ portal then queries those servers for information (it needs to be like this so journeys are recorded even if there is no phone in the vehicle). The real problem is therefore that the car is not correctly updating the servers. As far as I know everyone experiencing problems will find that the portal shows the same incorrect data as the app. I have a particularly inaccurate display at the moment where find my car shows the location my car was a few days ago but shows it with a timestamp of 14 Feb !
  6. On a long motorway drive with a full EV battery, I let the HV range run down to 0 to see what happens. a) The Fuel light came on when the HV range claimed 20 miles to go. This is at odds with the manual which says it should come on with 2 gallons left in the tank and I hoped the car might realise it had more fuel in the tank than it thought. b) However, the range continued to drop at a rate in excess of the miles driven and when the range hit 0 the car turned to EV mode and said refuel. I did refuel and the car took 44 litres (according to the manual the tank is 55l). Two days later I refuelled again and this time the HV range on a full tank came up as 367 miles (previously it had always claimed more than 500). This could be something to do with the vehicle "learning" from an empty tank or I suspect it was following a software upgrade. On a positive note the range now goes down as you would expect as you drive. However, although this is one step forward it still doesn't explain how a car that seems to do 40-45 mpg and has a 12.1 gallon (55l) tank only has a hybrid range of 367 miles. I'm guessing the tank may not be size it claims in the manual (or certainly the usable volume isn't)
  7. I can’t work out any logical explanation. I did wonder if it was something to do with their confusion in some situations between miles and kilometres ie some of the figures seem to be out by a factor of around 1.6 I just find it incredible that 9 months after a car has been on the market that an organisation the size of Toyota/ Lexus seems incapable of resolving such basic errors.
  8. In my case when it works, it works but the issue is that since March something like 50% of the journeys don’t get recorded and (when a trip is not recorded) the location for find my car is not updated. Having said that it has worked properly for the last two days .. The vehicle must be managing to communicate with the servers because mileage/ fuel is always updated properly. From your explanation of what you have set up I’m guessing you don’t use Apple car play? It would be interesting if that was a factor. As for send to car, the Lexus multimedia team told me in may it would be released within a couple of months at the latest. It is since then I have been told by Lexus uk, via the dealer, that it will not be supported on my model (nx 450h +). So not sure who to believe.
  9. Has anyone worked out how the 450h+ determines what figure to show for HV range. On a full tank the hv range claims about 500 miles. However if I start driving in HV mode the range drops rapidly (eg you drive 100 miles and the range now says something like 350 miles) … however if you then fill it up you will only have used 9l or so … so it doesn’t seem to be anything to do with real falling fuel economy. I guess the range is based on 45l fuel (ie ignoring the 10l reserve) but I can’t work out why the stated range doesn’t reduce at a rate similar to the miles actually driven.
  10. They asked me to take mine in too but made no progress. The fact the data is also missing on the my Lexus portal means it is obviously nothing to do with the app and the fact they ask people to reinstall the app suggests the people on the frontline are clueless. FWIW my dealer/ Lexus uk have now said my car (nx450h+) does not support the send to car feature. I pointed out this was at odds with what Lexus marketing say and what the price list says so they are going to advise the relevant departments. You just have to hope that the teams behind the safety critical software are a bit more competent!
  11. I concluded the charger just doesn’t work with an iPhone 13 pro (even without a case) … I’ve had to plug in a mag safe charger which then works fine … but it is disappointing a brand new £60k car doesn’t work with a brand new iPhone.
  12. Yes phone connected ok. Waiting doesn’t seem to help. Message about profile not loaded stays there until I press dismiss or settings. If I look in my Lexus on a web browser I get location and analysis of trips I have made but if I try to send a trip to the vehicle it says no multimedia registered. Lexus are now checking if vehicle has been set up as fleet vehicle for some reason.
  13. Thanks for that - I can see the reference to the key in the manual. I’ve had a case with the uk Lexus multimedia team for the last two weeks and all they have suggested so far is that I try the reset button which doesn’t help.
