It's crazy for new drivers at the moment. You could always try a few small things to gradually decrease the price. Like adding you to the policy as a names driver, reducing the yearly mileage (don't lie though), keep it in a garage or something. A friends son managed to get a good deal with Budget insurance, not sure how long that was ago though.
