It's 12 years old mind,but it's the SE-L with 65k on the clock
Paid just over £4000
And it's bloody gorgeous....😊😊😊😊😊

No Paul not standard.they are the colour that Porsche do their wheels.the guy I bought it from has a Porsche and thought the colour would go well on the Lexus.

i was refering to the fact that our country is run by puppets dangling from the strings
of european bureaucrats........
so get off your soap box,and brush the chips off your shoulders
do you know me.......no
so keep your opinions to yourself, and stop judging people by a sentence
you've read.
i am not a racist, because i hate everybody......
Just had a look at the one I've got sat here and you are correct. I never realised that!
So you'll still need to find a new cap Jimjam, but I've got a spare actuator sat here.
where are you in this fine country that used to be ours.?
i'm not sure yet if i can be bothered to take everything apart
as i would have to do it in the road.!!!
and i cannot find a cover yet. seen one on flea bay, but cannot
be sure of the colour.have asked the seller, but he's not replying......

hello peeps
well i;ve just had a lovely paint job done on my wing
thanks to my neigbour's inability to park......
and now having gone out to my car this morning, i've
found that some for childrens sake 'lowlife'
has decided to steal my nearside washer cover.........
but in order to get this they've snapped something off
the top or the actuator.? if that the right word.
is this an expensive fix, do i have to buy the complete pump.??
the thing is i heard a noise out the front last night, but just thought it was fireworks....
i would so like to catch them and break there bloody fingers one by one

well at long last i've found a company
to do the repairs to a cost that my neigbour
is happy with..........
they are called 'revive'. and they are
a nationwide franchised company.!
to be honest i,ve never heard of them.
have any other members used their services?
anyway they have quoted me £140 plus vat
and they are coming tomorrow, so we shall see
my neighbour,
has grazed the front offside bumper
and wing of my lexus, forward parking
into an impossible gap.!!!!
she knocked on my door and said
'oh dear i seem to have sctratched your car'
silly me, i'll buy you some T cut.!!!!!
i said its a bit more than T cut will take out
i'll take it to a body shop.
she was'nt happy when i came back armed with a quote
for between 200/300 quid.
and have'nt seen her since, not sure how to pursue it.....
i have just returned from a trip to a wedding in scotland
445 miles on three quarters of a tank.........
to say i was suprised is an understatement
most of the way was 70 to 80 mph
on cruise,7 and a half hours in total
car was great, my back was a bit sore as i did it in one hit
coming back was the same,a tad longer due to more traffic
:D
ok today have found time to fit a new catch to the petrol flap.
but now it locks, and will not open........
everything is connected and 'working'so what am i missing here.?
i managed to open it by hooking up a bungee cord to the release lever
which pulled the pin in, i then removed the catch again to stop it relocking.!!
is there a spring that pushes the flap out so it doesn't relock??
advice please
regards
johnboy
wow....
that seems like a whole load of work.
its only the locking catch on the inside of the flap thats broken
could i not just replace that.?or the flap?
regards
johnboy
some turnip
has broken the locking mechanism
on my filling flap.......
i have managed to source another one.
are they an easy fit?
please bear in mind i am as good at
mechanics, as jordan is at keeping
husbands.!!!!!!!

johnboy
the love affair is back on.........
finally after fitting
a new drop link arm.
a new bottom ball joint
greasing all calliper slide pins
copperslipping all the bits
that like copperslipping
i've cured the 'knock'
it was the feckin shock absorber.............
now the only other shock to sort out
is the one to my wallet.
