  3. Thanks Guys so far for your replies. Its only done just under 25000 miles and dealer is asking £445 for main service. Its also about trying to find a reputable local garage, as I have never used one so not sure how to find one.Trying to get the majority consensus here
  4. I am looking for some help here. My IS is due for main service soon. I have always send my car to Lexus for servicing. I am wondering if its really worth sending to them again or should I look for a reputable local garage who will do the same job for half the price. Any advice and help is much appreciated.
  5. Thats the problem 'DIY' I am useless at that, and not sure if I can even remove the door fitting and honestly I dont want to take the risk either. Hence why I am asking if anyone knows someone
  6. Hi Guys, I am wanting to fit the p-40 onto my is250 advance. Does anyone know someone who can fit in the Kent area. Thank you
  7. As for me this is my first Toyos, its definitely better then the Dunlops I had before.
  8. I had experience using Warranty Direct on my previous car. When it came to claiming I was left without a car for 2 weeks and they try to wriggle their way out of not paying. When you make a claim and then you got to wait for their engineers to turn up to inspect and then they start giving you excuses that you don't need to use original parts and then they put their findings to Warranty Direct waiting for their approval. Once approved only then work can be started on your car. If you think that's worth a few quid saved then by all means go ahead with them. Since having a 2 year extended warranty with lexus I've had my steering rack changed/both wing mirrors/rear windscreen and rear brake calipers changed without any hassle. If you can afford a Lexus then you should be able to pay for warranty.
  9. Hi Geoff, I have an extended warranty with Lexus and have no regrets at all. It might be slightly expensive but its worth it. There are loads of thread here on warranties have a read through.
  10. Do you know how long or how many miles it takes for the tyres to scrub in
  11. Hi Don, What are your initial thoughts on you the new Toyos in comparison to Toyo T1R you had? Mine the very first thing I noticed were the quietness and some of the tramlining has gone done about 150 miles so far.
  12. Not sure really if its the glass or the whole wing mirror.
  13. Both wing mirrors are stained and rear screen is because when you turn the rear demister on it interferes with the radio signal. Strange one that is.
  14. I am getting my alignment check tomorrow with Lexus while they change my wing mirrors and my rear windscreen.
  15. I got the fronts from Event tyres and the rears from Camskill. Now I only hope once its scrubbed my ride will be as what it use to be when I first got my car.
  16. Fronts are 225/45/17 and rears 245/45/17. Where did you get yours from?
  17. Hi James, I have just ordered a set of T1 Sport, and getting rid of my dunlop sportmax on the fronts and SP 01 at the rears. Hope this will sort out my horrible ride I have at the moment.
  18. Hi Dave, What toyos do you have at the front and what make do you have at the rears also do you experience any tram lining. cheers
