have you actualy looked at the fuel it cold be you have water/contaminated fuel thats cuasing the random missfires i would be removing the senders and having alook what the fuel is like

sounds like you have a faulty sensor and someones swiched them off to stop them making the noise the kits are the same as the kits fitted to toyotas so you can get replacement sensors to find out which sensor is not working switch them on car in reverse sensors sounding in your case lightly touch the surface of the sensor with your finger you should feel it click very gently each sensor should do this if you find one whcih doesnt check the wiring to that sensor has not broken if thats ok it will be the sensor thats gone down you can confirm that by switching sensors with another and seeing if the fault moves with the sensor!

have you plugged the switches back in?

dont go hitting it with a hammer it wont help!! the center nut on the pully needs to be undone for it to move!

My link thought i would drop off the top cover to check my t belt before i put my is200 on the road there is about 4-5mm of belt left belt was last done in 2006 so is due on age but not millage remeber prevention is better than cure!!

afternoon all new member here does anyone have the current part n umbers for a 2001 uk is 200 sport i need waterpump t belt the tensioner and idler and also those seals people say leak? bypass hose? im doing the belt etc before i put the car onto the road and i work at toyota so can get the bits through our delivery but our epc doesnt list lexus bits so the part nos would be good if anyone has them thanks! regards mike
