    Mine must be the exception then,just done a 420 mile round trip (is200 Auto) from chesterfield,derbyshire to Tunbridge wells and back, still got 1/4 of a tank left,most of journey done at 75 using cruise though

    Might be of use to someone? Ever since i picked my is200 up 2 wks ago, its had an annoying rattle from behind dash...or so i thought. Worse on setting off and idling at traffic lights, anyway had dash apart and no luck. Finally ive traced it to the 2 metal pipes fastened to bulkhead under bonnet.One of the rubber sleaves round pipe was missing, replaced it and silence....

    Wouldnt say your being fussy, go with your instinct, the 2 you have seen i wouldnt have bought either. Mine needed cam belt doing, but engine is as quiet as a mouse. Cam belt can be used as a bargaining point on price, i did mine following guide on here, never done one in my life before. Be patient one wil come up and you will know its right.

    Got a dash tray with lid from Aclex for a bargain price.. ( excellent guy to deal with), fits my navman spot on.

    I would say go for it,ive had mine 3 wks now and must say its the best car ive had up-to date.Mines done 116k and just had cambelt done. the quality of the car and driving experience are brilliant, you wont regret it.

    I have managed to pair my new key to open doors boot ect but cannot get it to pair to immobiliser. Even after trying all guides on here. my question is should i have been able to program the remote locking if the key i have is not a master? I thoght it would have done nothing at all not program one thing but not the other. i have a 1999 is200. Any help great fully received. Ian.

    Hi are you after just the empty key fob and not the transponder?You have get the empty key fob with blade which will need cutting off "fleabay" cheap enough. wanting transponder as well mate.     Just a quick post to say hello to everyone,just picked up my first is200 (1999 V REG 115K,best drive ive had for a while.Sold both my vectras to buy it and so far alls good.
