hello, Does anyone know of any Lexus breaker yards around kent? ive tried all the local breakers but not one seem to even have a lexus in there yard, or if they have its already been stripped back to its shell .

oh simple then, didnt wanna try it and end up ruining the light. cheers for the help ill give that a go tonight

hello, i have that exact same problem and its my third light that sits on the parcel shelf, any idea how to get that light out easily or do you have to take all the seats out so the parcel shelf slides out with it.

still not cheap aye lol. ive managed to fix it and for now it seems to be holding so fingers crossed its sorted :D

Oh thats what i fort that it wont be cheap lol, it dosent look repairable from what i saw as its snapped right on the part where it joins the tank. but thanks for all the help.

ok thanks, does the exspansion tank seperate from the fan housing or do i have to buy a whole new housing? And does anyone know where i can get one from?

hello, Can anyone help me, the past few days i had my engine coolant light flash up and go out and while sitting in trafic the temperature has increase. when checking last night found a little hose that has snapped off the back of the radiator....looks like it goes to an exspansion tank but its located on the fan housing? The hose goes from the radiator cap and over the back to fan housing. Does anyone know if the radiator is seperate or a joint unit to the fan? as i can only see one hose that attaches the radiator to the exspansion tank. Also a rough idea how much one would cost? Hello, Does anyone know where i can buy a nice set of wide arches for an IS200? i had a look round and not really seen anything. Just the wheels i have brought are too wide for the car and i need to roll the arches so might as well go all out with the wide arch :) Regards Ash

Yeah, i did read through that link/post and couldnt see much on 9j's...maybe i missed something just wanna know really what the reckonmended offset is? an yeah currently have 8j on the front and tthey are fine

hello, Im having a bit of trouble with my rear wheels, i recently changed them to a 18x9 with an ET of 40. But im having trouble with the wheels poking out my arch and everytime i hit a bump or turn a corner the arch cuts away at my tyres due to the body roll of the car. Does anyone know if these are the right fitment as im being told that 9"wide wheels can fit under the arch with out any problems. If not what ET should i have/go for? regards ash

thanks for the advice folks, i didnt think the wheels would have any affect, just fort ill ask anyway as it happened after i changed my wheels lol. just brought a new battery and will be fitting it tonight, so fingers crossed itll be alright.

this may seem like a silly idea but would having bigger wheels affect anything that would make my engine cut out/struggle to run? not sure if any sensors picking it up as a safety feature??? as this has only started since i changed my wheels over

i fort that but didnt know if 10-11v was acceptable due to volt drop due to age of battery etc, when the cars ticking over/idling should the alternater be charging? as it only seems to be sending out 15v when reving...

hello, Ive got a problem with my is200, last night it just cut out and wouldnt start (some reason battery went flat). managed to get it home after having to keep jump starting it, as it would just cut out like the engines not idling properly and when i got going it seemed to cut out then pick up again then would be fine until i come to a stop. Ive checked the battery and reading 10-11v (is this too low for a 12v battery?) and when managed to get it running it was reading 14v (only when reving gently once left to idle it goes back to 10-11v and dies). i did check the level on the battery and it was a little low...could this be the cause? ive now topped back up to the right levels. thanks

ah, yer i got them of a website that stated they would fit my car etc, but i guess not lol. yer might have to look into rolling the arches not sure if it would make a big difference tho? ive got my brothers to sit in the back and checked the gap and it all seems fine its only when going round corners and the shell has lots of play/lean. nice alloys btw :)

hello, Ive recently purchased some new wheels and went for a 18x9" wide rears, now im having a problem with the body hitting the wheels. When i turn corners the body of my car rolls and started to ripe apart the rubber of my tyres. what things can be done to stop this happening? ive been told change the anti roll bars and suspension but will this have much affect? Thanks

hello, the only promblems i found out over the years is that although FG kist maybe cheaper and more avaliable to purchase, the fitting of the kit can be a bit of hassel if you decide to do it yourself? due to them being copies/replicas they are not the genuine part so bit of modification may be required.

okay thanks, as you stated the body of the Altezza is the same as the is200, just wondering if engines are simular and could you use parts from the altezza for the is200? Thanks
