  1. no probs Mick, if the damage is that bad where the swage line is hard to get back just go for a replacement panel
  2. the lights are cool how did you seperate them the heat trick?
  3. No need for caps lol, but yeah I don't see why they wouldn't
  4. do you have an age limit to the car? you can pick alot up for 3.5k go to pistonheads and do a custom search with 3.5 being max price and see what pops up
  5. they are easy to replace if you know what your doing yes, if you can find a replacement with the same colour code as yours i say go for it. However personally id just get it resprayed you shouldn't be able to see any difference from the wing to the rest of the car if they know what they are doing ive sprayed plenty of silver cars in the past it can be tricky to lay down but not that hard compared to some if its a good bodyshop i say repair and paint
  6. oh mine where already that way around, its the the bracket on the bonnet side that is hitting the unit maybe I have those the wrong way around?
  7. yeah its a 2000 model pal good guess :P, and Sprinter do you mean the full thing including the mounts or just the strut its self?
  8. I got my figs through on Thursday and fitted them today. However the drivers side one doesn't fit it hits the fuel lines or brakes lines whatever that little metal box is. How have you guys gotten around this? or am I just putting these on wrong?
  9. hey guys, im trying to sell my old car where do you guys suggest the best places are for it?
  10. well k&n or any after market filter offer a better filtration but at the same time allow better "breathing" this causes the car to become a little louder and grunty price is about 75 for a trd filter havnt checked the oem or k&n prices but tbh when my air filter is due ill be swapping straight to a trd one and not bothering with an oem one. P.s ive not used k&n i usually have used aem on past cars or hks
  11. i have the exact same problem with mine if you find a fix drop me a pm dude, the best advice ive been given so far is buy aftermarket but i dont really want to, i want to keep the original look of it so might have to keep eyes peeled on ebay
  12. just another bump anyone heard of any going ?
  13. well we're obviously dealing with someone with a low IQ. they started to take the kit off in a picture after the recovery its missing the drivers side rear quarter wide arch but eben without that it would stillstad out
  14. good news everyone; the car has been safely recovered all that was said was it was found in the reading area
  15. keep an eye out guys its been spotted on the m25
  16. nice i had a look actually dude, did a little search and saw a thread where you posted the pics of yours thats eaxactly what im looking for so im going to order them from Figs, just ashame its american means a longer delivery time i would think
  17. ah nice one no messing about drilling or anything?
  18. hmm yeah good idea ormi how are those fitted? also i see in your sig that you have some where did you get those?
  19. So I bought a carbon bonnet from Seibon mid may and it arrived yesterday, I fitted it fine with the help of a few washers as the new bonnet threads are 10mm compared to the original 13mm(if i remember). The problem being is the lovely people at the Seibon production line obviously have given no thought to what this bonnet should have. Firstly the holes for the washer jets are ridicoulsy too small, I mean who really wants to dive in with a file on a new £550 bonnet to make them bigger? But their generic responce to it; jump in there and file them to fit i mean really? i paid 550 ffing pound and you cant be arsed to get the holes the right size? How about you just mold the god damn holes bigger? Secondly for the guys who have an is200 you'll know that the bonnet stay doesnt sit in the usual place on top of the wing, but attaches to the the actual underside of the bonnet. Yep you guessed it no holes to reattach the plastic holding mount so how do they expect me to resolve this? well im paraphrasing but basically find it out yourself... I can safely say I will not be using Seibon again i've bought carbon products before from lesser named suppliers and been much more satisfied. This post is a heads up for any interested and also if anyone can think of a way I can attach the bonnet stay and think of a washer jet that will fit as i really do not want to file my bonnet. thanks Craig
