my 2 cents. what about if the car exploded while parked up, will the insurance company pay then? surely the fire/theft part of the policy should cover the explosion??? my mates car burnt out while parked on a hot summers day, about 2 years ago and the insurance company wrote the car off and paid out.

Hi, depends how much current you are drawing, you need to have the correct size cabling for your amps. you should have a thick wire going from the front to the back of the car, with a fuse at the front and a fuse at the back. The earthing for the amp is also very important.

the pioneer is good value for money, you can buy a good screen for about 500-600 but then you have to add the sat-nav to it which would be another 500-600. with the pioneer you get satnav and bluetooth phone aswell.

to do this, i have used a toad window closure module, becuase of the is200 electronics you have to feed two wires into each door, and cutt the original postive up window wire and put the two wires from the module there. for the trigger you use the output which is described in the side mirror instructions on here, done mine over a year ago and works fine. the toad window module was about £40 to buy.

what you doing to your car Niraj, weight saving on a more serious note, i had a rattle coming and thought it was coming from behind the dash, but it turned out to be a screw that had come loose and was moving around inside the front centre reading light, check that first. Raj

Hi All, got my 6 year service coming up soon, and i think its the one where they change the spark plugs. Was wondering if the lexus ones are the best to go for(and if anyone knows how much they are), or are there others ones which are better and last the same if not longer than the oem ones? Thanks Raj
