Hi guys I have a 2001 Lexus IS200 Sport - and have been having ongoing issues with my headlights for the past few months. Initially the left headlight died - but all of a sudden came back on again. A few weeks later the right headlight started failing after about 30 seconds to a minute - but flicking the lights off and on bought them back no temporarily for another minute or so. However, now the right one is totally dead... and the left went again last night. After lifting up the bonnet and changing the right bulb, this made no difference. I took the fuse out for both the headlights and switched them over - which made no difference either. However, when i switched them back again - the left headlight came back on - but the right one still isn't working. Has anyone had this issue before... or have any ideas what may be causing this? Cheers for the advice guys... very much appreciated :) Yes they're definitely a conversion kit Matt. I've just ordered the 5000k lights... as I quite like a tint of blue tbh. I'll have a go at fitting them myself (although the passenger side will be a mission as its so tight)... otherwise I'll just take it to a garage and ask them to do it :)

Hi guys I bought a 2001 Lexus IS200 Sport a couple of years back - which has been modified with HID headlights. One of the bulbs went yesterday - so went to Halfords to get them to take a look - but said they couldn't tell which type of bulbs it was using, and couldn't replace them. As a bit of a novice when it comes to cars, I don't want to be fiddling around unscrewing the bulbs and trying to fit new ones. Looking at the box connected to the bulbs, its says 35W - so I'm assuming this is the power of the lights? Does anyone know where I can get reasonably priced replacement HID lights, and get them fitted ni the Reigate / Surrey area? Cheers Paul

Hi guys I wondered if you could advise on a query regarding replacing some tyres on my Lexus... I Have a 2001 Lexus IS200 Sport, and need 2 replacement tyres. I currently have Sunew 215/45ZR17 91W tyres. On looking around on the internet, I can find hardly any of the compatible "ZR" tyres - only "R" tyres. Is it necessary to always use ZR tyres on the car? Looking on the internet it says the letters relate to the "radial construction" of the tyres... but I'm not exactly a genius when it comes to tyres ;) Can anyone recommend tyres that would be compatible, or if its Ok to use 215.45R17 91W tyres on the IS200 sport? Hi guys I've just bought a 2001 lexus is200 sport, and would like to replace the brake discs as they are looking a little rusty. I'm just wondering if there is a specific brand or size of brake disc that needs to be used on the car?
