  1. Yeah I have been quite lucky, There's quite a lot of mud and dirt shoved around the back wheels, so I don't think its helped, as i said its only very light surface corrosion, Think im going to get it blasted off and wax oiled so it will last many more years to come, Other than that the car seems very solid I am hoping for many years trouble free motoring. Could you recommend a type and grade oil for the rear diff (with LSD) and the manual gearbox? Mark
  2. Hi all. Recently purchased myself a lovely Lexus is200 sport, and would like to say hi to everyone on the forum. I am also a proud owner of a Rover 216 which i have decided to road rally prep. The is200 seems in very good condition it's done 60,000 and on a 53 plate. Decided to change the timing belt today even though the book said otherwise and im very glad i did, it had started to fray! just wondering what sort of corrosion you usually see on these cars, there just seems to be a bit creeping in at the back of the car, nothing serious, how have the older cars faired?
