Hey, I had the exact same problem. check to see if the wheel on the pump is continuously spinning when you get the squeaking and stiffness. your going to need someone to sit and turn the wheel whilst you look at pump, if that wheel seem's to be jamming, try to re-tension it as Ormi said. sorted mine

I don't think halford's are suppost to turn customers away, which is what has basically happened, could be worth talking to the store manager. On the other hand going somewhere else could save you a fair bit of cash.

Hey was just wondering if anyone had changed the oil in there gear box? if so how hard/easy is it? The reason I ask is, the box seem's a little bit loud(clunky,) on gear changes especially when changing from 1ST-2ND. its 2001 is200 SE (manual) Im not a mechanic, so could be something much worse, im hoping not though. any ideas guys, cheers

I have got the Se, so will be needing bypass cable. Think I will be buying better quality after seeing dave's thanks for the advice

Hey guys, This is my first post. im basically just wondering if anyone has fitted an after market double din DVD unit? how do they look? I found this 1 on ebay: xtrons td601 and quite like it as I feel it will keep the standard look, however im worried the colour between this and the dash wont match and I also don't want it to stick out half a mile. any pics or info would be much appreciated Rob
