  1. Feel sorry for you mate. These kind of people need a good :shruriken: hiding. Can't help you with your parts maybe you should do it through insurance if there is a fair bit of damage. Maybe you should consider getting some cctv cameras fitted as well. Hope you get it sorted before christmas.
  2. Eid Mubarak to everyone, especially those that have fasted for the whole month. Only one to go now :D . Getting Prepared for the feast on Monday :P
  3. Ramadan Mubabrak, gonna get really difficult over the next few years, when it hits summer time and will start really early and finish really late!
  4. hope he recovers, he seems like a decent guy. Show won't be same without him.
  5. If you look at the interior of a base 2.0d jag X type which costs about 17k then you don't get a great interior. I recently bought a jag X type ( see thread here: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=35892 ) and love it so far. It is not a ford mondeo re badged nor is the lexus a toyota re badged, otherwise no one would pay for them, or you could argue that a Hyundai which shares alot of components with Lotus and Porsche is also a lotus or porsche. The jag shares less then 20% of its components with a ford, and those that it does share have been modified to such an extent that they are almost unrecognisable from their ford counterparts. The x type beats the Is300 i have (which is a great car too) by miles in terms of performance, economy, luxury and equipment. If you like the new XJ then drive it and go for it if you like it. It looks good, is reliable and luxurious, and offers value for money. It probably even rattles less and has alloys that don't corrode or cd changers that stop working when compared to other cars
  6. I change cars very rapidly, so my list contains cars which i only owned for a few months. Also I always have more than one car to myself and sometimes have had 3+ cars to my self for short periods of time. In no particular order: 1996 Nissan 200sx Touring Turbo 1998 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 se ( Still have) 1999 Honda Accord Type R 1998 Hyundai Lantra 2.0 1998 Honda Accord 2.2 vetec 2004 Mercedes C200 Kompressor Auto 2002 Lexus IS300 2003 Honda Civic Type r (stolen) 2005 Jaguar X Type 3.0 Sport 2001 Honda Civic 1.6 1997 Nissan Primera i think that covers everything I have had since I passed my test when i was 17 back in 2000
  7. As promised here are some pics, sorry about the quality they were taken on the phone. interior: exterior:
  8. Thanks guys, yes my mums fine now, although she still has to go to physiotherapy and still has the odd ache or pain. I went for the Jag because there really wasn't alot more to chose from. I really don't like the new 3 series it looks too bland and lacks soul and character. I've had a c class before for 2 months as a courtesy car and didn't really like it, plus its old and due for replacement soon. The new IS although a fine car, just doesn't cut it in the performance department and is quite a bit more expensive, whilst the Jag has a 0-60 time of 6.6 secs and does 27 mpg. If there was a IS 350 i probably would have got it. The GS is out of my budget and is probably a bit old manish for me ( i'm 24 now). Plus Jags are second only to Lexus nowadays in terms of reliability and satisfaction. The other thing i preferred about the Jag was that they do a one spec includes all options, unlike bmw/audi where you have to specify practically everything taking the cost through the roof. The Jag even comes with sat nav and alpine premium sound system as standard, not to mention leather/climate/alloys/hids etc. I will post some pics soon as i get a chance to take some, might try to get a few side by side with the Lex. If they ever do an IS coupe or bring out the 350 then I will probably come straight back to Lexus.
  9. Back in may my mum had a major crash in her car (7 Series), she was in hospital for weeks, car was completely written off, anyways thats another story. Now that the insurance have paid her out for her car, I have taken this opportunity to give her my Lexus as she is more comfortable driving it, and she has been driving it for some time now. I have gone over to the dark side, and bought myself a Jaguar X Type 3.0 sport premium auto Nav. Just taken delivery of it, and am impressed so far . Might post some pics a bit later. So its sort of goodbye to the Lexus for now, although i still have access to it whenever i want. Obviously if i decide i don't like the Jag then I can get my Lex back :P
  10. Its the (Victoria Secret) super model Adriana Lima :winky:
  11. How about a Toyota Corolla kompressor. My mate traded in his civic type r for it and loves it.
  12. Happy Birthday :P Have a good one
  13. I got my phone from this website: http://www.phoneboxdirect.co.uk/ exactly the same talk plan with the 250 texts and 400 mins etc. I pay nothing as it is completely free with the cash back, and I have the LGU880 as my spare second phone and its completely free. This is not a scam as I have used them previously and have received all my cashback. I also get a reward for everyone i introduce and have managed to get all my friends and family onto this.
  14. I could give you a very lengthy and in depth report about it, but to summarise its because of the dollar weakening and a drop in the U.S markets which is having a massive knock on effect all around the world. Oil prices and war are not helping either. Things should bounce back to normal after a while. Also fears about rising interest rates to cut down inflation, and rising commodity prices have triggered this. The main problem is the typical "animal spirits" behaviour and loss of confidence in the markets. check this link out for a more detailed summary: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/5011530.stm
  15. I'm not having any problems anymore since the last few days. Whatever you guys have done it seems to have worked. :D
