  1. Thank you for the advice. I think maybe it might be time for a new car, well in maybe a year. I do not want to go off the lexus range! I love these cars. I think maybe a GS 300, that may have to do. Although I dread to think what the insurance is on that, as im a young driver. Oh, onwards and upwards as they say!
  2. Thank you!! :D it worked! The thing is, I changed it in november, and it should have been strong. Someone said there could have been interfierence, I am not quite sure how. But its fine now! I kind of regret buying a 220d, I should have got the 250. But what can you do, this is life. Thanks again! :D
  3. My car won't start!! I hold he clutch. It sais key not detected. It was fine about 2 hours ago. I was driving. When I hold the clutch. A red light on my key flickers!! What's wrong with it ?? Someone please help!!!
  4. If cost is a factor that rules the Ls600 out so you are now down to a CT200 sorry I think they have 17" wheels though! I'm not too keen on the CT200, I may just wait till i turn 25 and get the is-F, i love that car! Im really looking for speed and power, yeah i know your probs thinking, hes insane, but i am young. other than that, maybe the gs350, but that rather large, who knows :)
  5. nice! i understand, lol and yes it is a shocker! haha. ill have to get 17s, well tbh, i was thinking of getting rid of the car, and buying a new car. what would be a good fuel efficent lexus, but also have a good source of power and speed! obviously not an expensive source either . thanks
  6. Hey guys! its nearly xmas! :D, so i hope someone can help me! i have an is220, and i was at the gym the other day, and someone asked me why my rims are small? there 16", i was quite shocked, he said this car should have 17 or 18" rims, and the wheel size should be at either 235 or 245 at the rear, is he correct? if so please give me advice! thanks! and hope everyone has a very merry xmas!
  7. ahh and maybe im exaggerating it was more like 3 quaters of it maybe less, as i spilt a lot. but it was empty, there was literally no water in it. but its running well. i just want to know how to charge it
  8. i dont really know, the guys at the shop said i should fill it up, i really wouldent know how to charge it, or does it charge as you drive it? its pretty confusing.
  9. well, i got someone to jump start it using booster cables, and drove it. and i also put the water for battery in it, a whole litre was needed. and drove it a while for like 2 hours, how do i put it on charge? what do i have to do?
  10. hey guys, this morning i tried starting my car! and well, it didnt, it made such a weird noise. like a sort of screeching noise and then it just didnt start. i re-tried it over and over, on the display it said check completed, the battery light is on on it, maybe its a new battery i need? i dont know what to do! can someone please help? thanks
  11. Chuckie888, Thanks! im sure it aint that bad, as it helps with fuel resumption minus 20%, ive heard of people doing it on the is220d, so i think i may try it. 6 pin? how do i find that out?
  12. Awesome! :) thank you! oh can you have a look at this for me? its cheaper, and ive read reviews and seems good, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Chip-Tuning-Power-Box-LEXUS-220d-177-hp-/290439277384?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item439f87ab48 apparently its an italian chip, Thanks for your time!
  13. I have a standard twin exhaust system from my IS250 if you'd like to make me an offer.

  14. Hey guys, i've been looking round for a twin exhaust trim for my Lexus is220d, and I cant find any to fit my exhaust, I think mine is 83-85cm long, Does anyone know where i can get a twin trim to fit it? Thank you very much!
