Have standard factory fitted P3801 unit. Intermittently makes horrible loud crackles, on CD and radio, with unit on and off, then has no sound at all and other times works perfectly. Car electrics engineer has had it out twice, cleaned connections but cannot diagnose fault. Anyone experienced similar? Any solutions appreciated.
