  2. Hey guys. FDM are an IT services provider and specialise in training IT graduates. I trained with them last year and I must say I owe them a lot. They train you for a period 12-16 weeks i think (it varies) and yes it's free and yes you do have to sign into a contract of two years. However you need to understand that its really tough to break into the IT industry as a graduate. I learnt bearly any tech skills whilst at Uni so wasn't employable to the big blue chip cos I wanted to work for. FDM not only gave me this training in Java development but they also placed me with some amazing clients including some leading investment banks. You also get a good salary throughout this time and an amazing CV at the end so I'd say its definitely worth it. But if you can't commit to two years then yea I wouldn't really bother applying.
