Hi Malc, Thanks for the info about Chris Vince, I've been in contact and he has been very helpful. The result so far is that (under his detailed instructions) I've removed the binnacle and it should be with him today for repair! I'm eagerly awaiting the results, he said it should be back with me before the weekend. I'll report the results after it has been installed. This is my first experience with the club, so far, with your help it has been very good. Many thanks from Dennis

Back lighting failed intermittently and has now given up completely this is on a 1 owner 1993 LS400! Has any one any experience of this problem, can you help a new member? DenJ
