Well, I finally made my mind up. Have just upgraded to a April 2005 IS200 Auto in Plat Ice with Sports styling kit & sports grille, full leather & DVD Sat Nav. Pick it up tomorrow (Sat) morning - cant wait !! Be interesting to see how the dealer is when I pick it up tomorrow, see what goodies they will throw in. Cheers, Lee. Hi All, I am in the middle of deciding to upgrade my current IS200 SE Sat-Nav Auto, which is a 1999 'V' Reg with 78500 on the clock. Its just had today a 80k service from Reading. I asked for an valuation on the car againsdts a 1-2 year old IS200. The value was not as much as I had hoped for, but I suppose it's nearly 6 years old. Has anyone had experience of dealing with Reading sales at all, what should I look out for from them ? Are they 'deal friendly' at all. What do you guys reckon I should push for in the way of extras like mats, service package etc? Comments welcome, cheers, Lee.

Every now & then when I am doing approx 70-80 ish, the oil light comes on for about 3-5 seconds, then goes out. This has hapopened about 5 times now. Very worrying when your in the outside lane. Checked oil level every time, all ok. Anyone got any ideas?? Oil Pump not giving enough pressure under load?? If oil pump - how much to have replaced?? Car is an IS200 Auto with 78k on the clock. £298 - Lucky you !! My 2000 IS200 is currently in Lexus Bracknell having the same bearing replaced, out of warranty also, at the bargain price of £380 They had better give it a dam good clean as well, especially after taking an hour & half to get there, + another hour to get back to High Wycombe again!! A right pain esp. when you work for yourself. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Mind you, have got a nice Granite IS300 Sprotcross, do fancy one of them. Cheers.

Got a front wheel bearing whining & starting to rumble, Has anyone done one before ? Or does anyone know anybody in the High Wycombe area that can do it? Have been told that it comes as a complete hub assembly - means high price no doubt. Anyone help ?? IS200SE Navigator Auto. Cheers

Have to agree with mcwatson, I live in High Wycombe also. Too many hills !! Great in the dry though, leave many others in your dust as you leave them sat at the bottom. :D Getting too many cameras now though. :tsktsk: mcwatson, Have to keep an eye out for you mate, see you around. Cheers.

Have tried everything possible so far, thinking about taking car to Bracknell but dont really want to pay the huge price for a new cd if its a problem with the reader, or pay the even more huge price for a new reader if its the cd !! Any more ideas anyone ?? Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the manual for the cd based system, even a photocopy or scanned email copy will do, just some information might be handy. Maybe I could just jump out in front of every IS I see & ask to borrow thier cd for 5 mins Do Lexus Dealers keep older versions of the cd which they dont sell anymore I wonder? Apart from the blasted sat-nav, still love the car, wife loves it so much she wants one of her own now !

Cheers for the replies so far. Only had car for 8 weeks, CD itself little bit grubby and a few light surface scratches will try & clean it & put it back in car when wife brings it back from supermarket shopping!! Will also blow the lens. The car has been standing a while before I bought it. Originally a Lexus Contract Hire car but didn't get it from Main Dealer. I don't know any other person that has a Lexus or Toyota that I could ask to try, not where I live. Will let you know results of actions above.

Hi All, Been checking the board out for a while now prior to finding & buying my IS, :D Got a question for you, I have got the Sat Nav option with removable remote control, when the CD is installed, it says cd error on the screen. I have a car manual but there is nothing in there about Sat Nav. Is there a separate manual for it or am I missing something obvious, I have not got a clue how to use it yet. Great Car though! Car is a 1999 'V' IS200 Auto, Location Bucks. Any help/advice appreciated.
