  1. All the locking wheel nuts are individual. If you have the original case they came in you can get a replacement. I know it doesn't help to get the wheel off, but you need the unique serial number printed on a card that came with the nuts, then you can get an identical replacement, other wise you need a complete new set of locknuts and a key, and you still need to get the other 3 off. A lot of dodgy backstreet garages will just knock a tight fitting socket over the wheelnut with a hammer and try to get it off that way.
  2. If you are still looking at this, then Doncaster motor spares has an is220d with front end damage for breaking, it has the satnav system in it for sale.
  3. Hi chap. Don't know if those will fit, another more knowledgable member might shed some light on that. You could fit the wheels off the sport model, those are 18", but I have tried to get a spare set for mine and they seem quite hard to come by. I was quoted £831.90 at lexus parts direct for a pair of 18" wheels for the rears, don't know how much for the fronts. Seem quite expensive to me!!
  4. My 56 plate 220d has also got a sticker under the bonnet for an official Toyota modification:- ecu reflash. I have been told this is due to the 5th injector being replaced. Also might be in relation to the complete engine rebuild done at 42k, including head and short block, aparently noted on the lexus report sheet as due to poor manufacture of the original engine.
  5. A bit late, I know, but as lexus is akin to Toyota, wouldn't TRD be classed as an official tuning arm?
  6. Anybody able to help with this? When I purchased mine the cover was missing on mine also, the dealer I got it from fitted a new one before I picked it up. That was 6 months ago. I found it had become detached yesterday. To my dismay it looks like the dealer only stuck it on with double sided sticky foam. After a brief inspection I couldn't see how it was supposed th attach to the washer head, looks like there is a part missing.
  7. Hi chaps. This is my first post and as good a place as any to start. I got my 56 plate is220d sport 6 months ago. So far I love it. Yes the fuel economy is a biotic a worry, but I don't care much, I didn't purchase it to be frugal ( I have a Citroën c5 hdi for that.) I purchased mine from an independent dealer, not lexus. I was looking back through the old receipts for it in the handbook folder, and it had a complete engine rebuild including a new short block and liners at 42k. Luckily the chap who had it before me had to sort that out, glad I didn't have to as the invoice is for over 5k!!! Apart from that there are a couple of invoices for new tyres and some brake parts. Hopefully the previous owner had all the trouble with the car, and it will all be plain sailing for me.
