I'm here as a bit of a fraud as I don't actually own a Lexus but trying to help brother-in-law who's rather mucked up his life. He bought a 98 RX300 imported from NZ (apparently) about 3 years ago and needs to sell it. It's got about 110K miles on the clock, MOT for 2 more months, runs fine but a few scratches/minor dents. A dealer has offered him £900 off a replacement vehicle (nasty peugot 306). My question is - as there's a pers number plate for which we've been offered £700 is the car really only worth £200/300? If not, does anyone know a dealer who specialises in these models or should we try ebay/exchange&mart etc?
