  1. Just a thought, if this fault appeared when you changed the coils and sparks, doesnt this point to them being the problem?
  2. I too have the squeal on cold mornings, but I think its the water pump, as I appear to be losing water as well.I expect Lexus in exeter will charge a fortune as I got a quote to change the front wheel bearing and they wanted £510 incl, needless to say I didnt get it done there...
  3. I have the same problem, when I fill up it can take the gauge 10-15 mins to suddenly jump up, going down dont have a problem with (apart from emptying very quickly........ouch)
  4. Sounds like a dicky thermostat to me, car gets warm when you are stationary, but when you move air cools rad down, so all goes cold.
  5. Thanks to all for the info, Ill pop the caliper off at the W/E and have a butchers, looks like I shall be poor yet again.......Hey Ho
  6. Hi, got a weird problem,After about 6 miles driving the sterring wheels starts to wobble, similar to unbalanced front wheels, only more so where it is almost undriviable, speed is any where between 30-60 mph.If you try and brake, noise and wobble is horrendous. After about 2 miles the wobble goes and all is peachy again for about 50 odd miles. When stopped the front offside disc is hot (burnt me fingers on it) and you could say the whole wheel area is hot.. Is it a sticky front calapier? if it is, why does it do it if I havent used the brake? Any thoughts would be apprieciated.
  7. I bought my car with 235 40 18 tyres and they are awful, wobble around the road a bit and when on the motorway near side lane I seem to tramline a lot. I would change them but they look brand new.
  8. funny that, the same thing has happened to me......perhaps if we find 3 others we can buy a set..
  9. Seen somewhere on here someone does/did put sony sat navs into the old pop up housing.....
  10. no I was waiting to see what others thought about them
  11. Hi has anyone used a centre armrest from Conrad Electronic ? They seem quite reasonable and simple to fit..
  12. Had the dings fixed only cost £10 and all is tickety boo again.Had a chat with the autoglass chap about the pilkington windscreens they used to fit (people had trouble with them re old posts) and he said the only use OEMs now..
  13. Hi all just purchased a IS200 from flea bay,all seems in good order but on the way back collected 2 not 1 2 dings on the windscreen...... It dont boad well does it...
