Is there anyone selling a body kit for the is200 which includes: side skirts, front and back lip and also small lip/spoiler for the boot aswell. also am interested in new alloys aswell preferably with many spokes. if not for sale do you know where i can pick up some for a good price. i'm located in Manchester so if you know any one selling them around the area please could you let me know thanks in advance.
  2. hi, I want to service my lex. its a x reg (2000) and done 115k. what would be the best oil to use? i'm thinking of castrol magnetic but would i need 5w30 or 10w40? am not sure considering its done high millage. also would i need to change the following: Brake Fluid Coolant Power stearing gearbox oil diff oil these 5 things have not been changed for about 16 months now just want to know are they necessary? if so could you please recommend which would be the best to go for. thanks for any replies in advance.

  5. yes you are correct. the sports model comes standard lowered then the se model so they wont fit. thanks for pointing that out anyway. Will still keep searching on ebay then. If you do by any chance come across some shock absorbers please do let me know. thanks for the help anyway!!
  6. Al offer £42 including shipping? am from Manchester but its your call.
  7. sprinter is there any chance you can sell me only one though. I dont think i will be able to afford both and to pay for the labour as budget is tight. I think i will only change one which is the passenger front. Mind you mine is a is200 se x reg. cheers
  8. Yes it failed MOT so it needs replacing asap. I know its not a genuine part but will it do the job? how much are you offering yours for?
  9. Hi peoples, My IS200 failed it mot recently on a few thing such as both front wheels and a shock absorber due to serious oil leak. As you probably know the shocks dont come cheap but i have found one on ebay for about £50 and just want to know will it be compatible, as the seller has not replied back to me yet. Its a front passenger shock absorber. here is the link. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-IS200-01-99-05-SALOON-FRONT-SHOCK-ABSORBER-LH-/260553741944?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3caa369678#ht_4105wt_1163 Do you think this is genuine? and is it a front passenger side shock absorber? Thanks for all replied in advance!

  11. immobilizer which pushed it up towards the buttons and now it works great.

  12. Hi John,

Yes i have managed to sort it out thank you. I actually went to a store called key fax and they actually provided the key and cut it and it all cost £26. That was a great price for me considering lexus said the will do the key for £250!!! The immbolizer would not work via the button because they could not reach it so i just put abit of card under the im...

  13. Hope you have sorted this by now. Just been in the same position and bought key from ebay. Timpson's aparently do not cut 'customer blanks' anymore but any good locksmith with the right kit can cut the key. You then just pop in the button pad and it should work. Check the detail about key though they come in different lengths and width. My original was 38mm long, replacement 40mm b...

  14. Thank you for a prompt reply Steve. I'm from Manchester so do you know any place i can get it cut from? plus the blades on ebay are 40mm in length where as the original is 37mm. should that make a difference?
  15. Hi everyone, My is200 key has been damaged and i was wandering if i bought a off the market key from ebay which is an uncut blade and got it cut from a locksmith then i just put my immobilizer in it from my original key will it work? Thanks for any advice
