  1. On Sunday i tried my Autosocks for the first time and was amazed at the difference it made. Normally the car would have stayed safely on the drive when it snowed, but i was away and had to get home. There was about two to three inches of snow and the car wouldn't move from the position it was parked in (on a very slight slope). So a put the Autosocks on the rears and the car was moving as though there was no snow, next a short but steep hill to get onto the road, i didn't need to take a run at it, the car just made it to the top problem (to the amazement of my dad) i then had 6 miles to the motorway on snow all the way, doing 20-25mph the car felt under control (no squirming about). Once at the motorway where i could see tarmac, i pulled the off and i was away again. They were quick to put on and take off less than 5 minutes and as away keeping going when the conditions got difficult i think they are great. They are quite expensive especially if you buy front and rears, but the biggest problem i've had with my is200 in these conditions is poor rear traction so you could probably get away with them just on the rears. Once home i dried them out, they were a little dirty, but there were no signs of wear Only thing i'll change are the gauntlets they supply, as i found they weren't quite long enough and ended up rubbing my sleeves on the arches (minor issue) Hope this helps may be a little late for this year, but i thought i wouldn't use them when they arrived after the snow in January, so who knows
  2. When i inquired about the HIDs being legal or not at, the reason given that HIDs were not legal in the IS200 is because it hasn't got self levelling suspension, and that only one out of the three tester in their centre would probably fail the car
  3. i got mine from Ultraleds.co.uk Ultraleds.co.uk

  9. A couple of photo of the HIDs installed The photo i took with lights on was useless, i will try and get better one later
  10. I just bought a set from this Ebay seller HIDS i got the 4.3k bulbs and they are a big improvement on the standard bulbs. These kits wouldn't be much good for the high beams they take a couple of seconds to get up to full brightness

  14. Thanks for the card and Merry Christmas to all
  15. You need to pull the heated seat panel/TRC switch panel out and there two more screws under there and then the a/c and radio all lift out together
  16. The meguires 3 stage is alot better at removing swirls than the Carlack/Klasse products but as only the final stage adds a wax protection doesn't seem to last as well as the synthetic Carlack/Klasse system. If you're got alot of swirls, the first two stages of the meguires then Klasse AIO, then Klasse SG (several layers), then several layer of wax. The car will look great (especially if its black) but after that amount of effort you'll want to lie down for a week!!!!!!!!!
  17. I bought my IS200 from Liverpool, but I've always taken it to Chester and have never had any problems getting issues sorted
