  1. Depend on your budget. Im running on 4 Toyo Proxies. Very good in the wet but wear slightly quicker. But 4 fitted for £260 is 1/2 the price of some others.
  2. Is the car you looking at for sale in Romford?
  3. Mine opens about 1/2 way. Apparently this is correct for if it's raining ect.
  4. Over the past few weeks ive been reading on this forum about Wheel Geometry setup on IS models. Ive Just had 2 front tyres fitted to my IS and the fitter pointed out that the rears where wearing on the inside edges. He ajusted the tracking on the front of the car but I noticed that the steering wheel was not straight with the car (5 degrees out). I spoke to a ex tyre fitter friend who told me that just tracking the front is no good on a IS. He informed me that when tracking is just set on the front it may not be correct because it is setup with the back wheels hence if the back wheels are out you are fighting a loosing battle. Any way he recommended I visit GOODWIN tyres in Ilford/Essex as he sold his 15k's worth of equipment to them. Went there yesturday and they informed me that the rear o/s camber was out and the front tracking was still out. They set it all up for me for less that £60 and now it runs sweet with minimal tramlining. I will post the printout of the result in the next couple of days.
  5. I should go for it then - worth the dosh ← Another reason you may consider is that you can also add the safty camera database to your TomTom software to alert you of blackspot areas.
  6. Marky, I may be selling a set of 4 IS200se wheels from my 53 plate in perfect nick with 2 good tyres. I just need to get some extra cash for my new wheels.
  7. Ever wondered what a nice looking carbon bonnet would look like on your Lexi? Have a look here. http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm Think I'll spend the night modding my IS200..
  8. #I also used to use Kazaalite but more and more of the MP3's are corrupt.I now use WinMX which seems to be ok for MP3's
  9. Mines permantly attached to my ear using elastic bands...
  10. Cant remeber how much it was in 1987, but it cost me about £3 to fill up my mini.
  11. Is there a nice tidy unit like this that you can buy but that doesn't plug into the cigarette lighter, don't think i could cope with the wires trailing everywhere! ← Rob, your the same as me with regard to untidy wires. But I do own a TomTom Go and it comes with a mains charger and cigarette lighter charger, however the internal battery lasts for 8 hours fully charged, so I rarely use the in-car charger.
  12. doc martin ← Theres a lot of Rap artists Blinged up SC's as seen on cribs
  13. At a guess, £17 maybe £18,000......... ← Ill take 17k for it...any buyers??
  14. Im thinking of selling my IS200SE. Manual, 14k Miles, 2003 53 plate, Strath Blue with Exmoor. Mint Condition with no scuffs on wheels. How much should I advertise it for? Thanks

Im a Product technical specialist for a company based in Romford called Neopost. Had my blue Lex IS200se from new for just over a year now (very impressed). 16. I have TTG mounted in my IS at the moment. If you wondered how it looked mounted, I can post some pics for you.
  17. Colin, I have used TomTom navigator with an IPaq and I kept having to to do soft resets ect with it, plus the speaker wasnt load enough. Since changing to TTG ive noticed much better performance regarding display, sound and Battery life. Also I havent noticed any software lag and TomTom are always releasing free software updates to cure any of thease problems. If you require any more info regarding TTG, try this forum http://www.expansys.com/forum.asp?man=TOMTO&code=TOMTOMGO Hope this helps
  18. I have a TomTom Go unit and im well impressed with it. Also as an added bonus you can download the speed/safety camera database for free of the web. So for £420 ive got full satnav with speed camera detection. Result :)
  19. I thought the 320 was a 2.2ltr and the 318 was the 2 ltr. Is this correct?
  20. I had my windscreen replaced by Autoglass on my IS200 when it was 2 months old. About 4 days After repair I noticed water dripping from where the A post meets the roof lining. Autoglass told me that there was a small Air bubble/hole in the sealant which was allowing water to seep through. Autoglass had to spend the day with my car under the dryer to cure the dampness. IMO I would take the car to centre rather that have a mobile unit fit it. Also I noticed on the invoice that the price for the screen fitted was £650 :(
  21. http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras-checkpoint.php http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/uksafetycameras.php There you go. Just download the Speed Camera ooops (safety camera) database and copy the OV and BMP files only to your Great Britain directory in your software.
  22. I have the TomTOm Go aswell. Plug and Play without all the wires plus speed camara database :)
  23. where did you get the speed camera database? my father has just bought a TomTom Go, and was interested in this First you need to update TomTom Go to Ver 4.40 at tomtom.com , That will enable you to maintain your POI's. Then go here for the database http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/tomtom-go-poi.php Hope this helps.
  24. As I dont have a IS200 Navigator, I bought a TomTom Go unit and added the speed camera database. Works really well.
