  1. Hi and welcome to the club. I agree with Mike, my Ls400 has no signs of wear inside at all and has coverd 160,000 but still drives perfect these cars are built to last. Keep an eye on ebay as mine will be going on there this weekend. I know im going to regret selling it but i need something smaller.
  2. Mines a small snap on one. Nice size a not that heavy it holds its charge for a very long time and has a handy test button on the front so can check it every now and then. Not the cheapest but i guess as most things you get what you pay for. Ben
  3. Sounds exactly the same as mine then, very strange. Mines been fine ever since but i keep the jump pack in the boot now just to be on the safe side. Ben
  4. Mone done exactly the same Mike. Jumped it took it for a run and not done it since, im sure i didnt leave anything on but who knows. Ben
  5. Thanks for your thoughts, yeah i know the ride and spec is going to be miles apart but just being practical it makes sence. Always liked the look of the IS more than the LS too.
  6. My LS400 has been my first Lexus and I am sold on the brand!!! What a great car but I'm thinking of changing to an is200 mainly because of the size of the 400, the wife won't drive it and my works car park is very small so only a matter of time before someone hits it. I know with an is200 I won't get anywhere near the spec of my ls or the power etc but what's your thoughts? Has anyone made this change and regretted it? I spent a long time looking for my 400 (mk4 99) . Regards Ben
  7. Hi Ted, welcome mate great club this. Full of friendly and useful advise. Great car the 400. What year and colour? How long have you had it? Ben
  8. I recently bought my 400 and it amazes me everytime i drive it how much car i got for so little money. It does everything and more. Good luck in finding one. Its a buyers market and plenty out there, as already mentioned above great bunch of guys on here im sure your find sll the help you will need. Ben
  9. The matts are a great selling feature. They blend in very well almost look genuine :-)
  10. Thanks for the quick reply theres a damaged 400 on ebay finishing soon and it looks like the rx wheels on it was thinking of buying it for the wheels and breaking the rest of the car. But will leave well alone.
  11. Hi, will rx300 wheels same offset fitment etc as a ls40 obviously tyres are different but that aside will they fit? Thanks in advance Ben
  12. I won my 99 mk4 ls400 on e bay around a month ago for £820 full history (last 2 services at an independent not lexus) proof of cambelt change by Lexus thou.
