  1. Happy Birthday DaveLexi!

  2. In the next few weeks will be treating her to a full service, so might get an extra couple of mpg out of her (wishfull thinking I know) Redline MT90 for the gearbox. Redline 75w90 for the differential. Fuchs Silkolene Pro S 5w-30 for the engine. If anything it will be smoother after the service :)
  3. Been getting 32mpg average per tank, 480-500 miles to full tank but usually top up at 400-450 instead of running it dry, in my 2000 IS200 Sport manual with 120k miles. I'm quiet happy with that to be honest! :D
  4. 1 : 2000 Peugeot 206 1.1 2 : 1996 Honda Civic 1.4i 3 : 1997 Citroen Xantia 2.1 TD 4 : 1988 BMW 316 Coupe 5 : 1997 Renault Laguna 1.8 6 : 1995 Peugeot 306 1.9 van 7 : 1996 Honda Civic 1.4I (I was going to buy an Audi A6 2.5 TDi Quattro next but saw sense!) 8 : 2000 Lexus IS200 Sport 118k miles (Aztec Fire) :D 9 : Will be a MK II GS300 Sport if I feel the need to upgrade from the IS. Bought the IS Jan '12 and still loving it! Only needed a coil pack, a clutch kit and general service parts in the last 11 months. Treating her to a major service now at 120k miles along with timing belt to keep her at her best. :D
  5. The mechanic told me he tried this and couldn't free it, a mate of mine owns a garage that specialize in wheel alignment so I'll take it to him before I go burning a hole in my wallet on parts I mightn't need. He's 50 miles away but if it saves me some €€€ I don't mind. Thanks ormi
  6. I have just picked up my IS200 from the garage and they were unable to do the tracking on it as he couldn't loosen the locking nuts on the tie rod assembly. He tried everything but no success so I need to get the inner tie rod and tie rod end for the front left, I'm assuming I should do the front right as I'm at it? My question is, is it difficult to change the inner tie rod? any special tools needed? I have an oxy torch if all else fails I have changed tie rod ends before but never an inner tie rod. Thanks for any help Dave
  7. I'm a bit biased in saying Aztec Fire as I've just bought one in this colour but given the choice I'd probably go for Granite Sky. Still gotta love Aztec Fire though, it suits the body shape very well IMO.
