I had quote from local dealer and it came to over £950 including fitting, service manager told me that its 8 hours job. Kit itself is about £450. Useful staf but i think its too much for what is it..

Same, I have 400h SR model and dncm1 mentioned all deference between SR and SE, I love my SR I prefer, be coz less electronics less chance for failure ;) and if you consider then not very important. Regarding rain sensing wiper I think i got them, will double check. But want to mention one thing i am missing, on SR when you put in R mirrors will not tilt down -))))))) BTW any one know anything how can be done? anything? Thanks

Hi, I got RX400h (SR)2007 I was thinking to do parking sensors, be coz form my previous car Accord i found them very useful. Be coz RX its not a small car i some time found not easy to park, thats why i think Lexus should consider them as a standart. Just wonder how much they cost to buy them as a kit.(800 ones)? How much dealer asking for fitment? . Can you adjust distans of sensitivity? In my Accord my mechanic installed some aftermarket ones, and I adjusted my self. BTW for 5 years of using them never had any problems. Thanks.

Hi i am a new member of this forum and ferst of all what to say Hi to everyone.. I finally managed to get my self something what i was waiting for long time, now its happend -))) i am a proud owner of Lexus RX 400h SR. its 2007 and has 44 000 on the clock and full lexus dealer history, with multimedia pack on it. I been driving it nor for 2 weeks and only one thing i am not happy with its MPG. i drive very smooth, keep my feet of acceleration, but getting max 20mpg. And i meen it, i drive slow and very careful on acceleration, but for some reason it dont help. I been trying to monitor how hybrid work and looks like this is a problem comes from, some time it will kick in in about 35mph speed, some time it will not even on 7mph . tryed everything keept my hitting off, completely off, but again, just about 20MPG. I have 12 month warranty and going back to Lexus dealer. They arranged with me day driving, they wana see how I drive. Any advice? what can i ask them to check? what can i do regarding fuel consumption?. Thank a lot.
