Hi all! I’m still ‘a lurker’ so finding all info on the 500h really useful. I hope to acquire a used example mid-year onwards deep All colours considered. Currently knocking about in an RX450h F sport which has been absolutely brilliant but I need less load lugging now. My last sporty job was a 10 year old F355 Ferrari Spider which I thought looked sensational and I’ve always really regretted selling it. (especially as prices rocketed after I let it go😦) For me the LC will more than compensate with its looks combined with the tech, build and reliability. I am sure the V8 is great but looking for a less ‘eager’ ride these days. Looking forward to learning more from owners after many hours of trawling YouTube.

Hi Tony, I have this problem also in my 2002 car. Have noticed slight mould on rear seat and damp boot area so maybe mine is worse. Obviously in my case there must be water getting in (perished rubber trim possibly) . If you have a damp/wet area you will get condensation after leaving a warm car after use. Like Paul G I will check it out in summer. Like the idea of the crystals etc.

Forgot to say they were touting for work and trying to sell me tyres at an extortionate prices!

Airbag recall painless. Dealer picked up car from home address and dropped it back next day.

The first step to sorting this out has been to check the battery. It is apparently very good so next I will check the alternator etc and report back. Thanks you lot for your suggestions .I will keep u informed.

No lights but some loading of electrics....radio and blower. Snowed in now but will get battery checked out although problem seems to extend beyond that. Will report progress. Thx chunky chip

can anyone help please. drop in power shortly after setting off with electrics flashing and radio aerial rising and falling .After charging battery car starts but shortly after acts up again with sudden drop in power and dash display flashing. The car is awaiting check on amber engine warning light but not sure if this is connected. Obviously electrical and probably not just battery. anyone??

Anyone help please. Problem happened first time just after leaving home. I retrieved the battery .fully charged it and got the car home.The car started first time next day but after only a few hundred yards the radio and electrics went berserk again.The ariel kept raising and lowering and the lights dash flicked from normal to dim and back again several times. The engine power dropped and after a while stalled .The car did not have power enough to start but did so after trying again an hour later, got home where the problem persists.I have been waiting to have an amber orange light checked out so not sure if this is indicating this problem.??
