Hi Guys! Car - GS300 MK2 The cruise control dash light bulb has blown. I have managed to remove the instrument cluster and subsequently get access to the bulb but cant find anywhere to purchase a replacement. Does anyone know what size of bulb is required? Hey All I have not logged onto this site in ages, but I have to say that it is looking good! Nice work Steve and the other admins! This is not Lexus related at all but its worth a shot i guess.... Im currently with Orange Student Package pay monthly.... £30 per month for 120 mins and 1000 texts.... I am due to renew my contract but they only offered £2 discount :-(. Being a student, money isnt exactly plentiful unfortunately, and I hate/dont ask from my parents ( some may remember user PI100 - hes my dad). Can anyone recommend good packages in the region of 25-30£, I have scarred the internet but can only find good deals using 3rd parties. I think it is less troublesome if one deals direct with the service provider. For anyone who is wondering, im studying Computer Science at Manchester (Victoria and Umist amalgamated), so hopefully someday soon I too will own a Lexus... the new LS looks ace! mm...... i am registered with recruitment agencies and they are just the worse people to deal with, since i am student they dont even want to know me. i will go to the local job centre tomorrow and get talking to one of their consultants. hopefully next year i will get an industrial placement that is related to my degree course.

lol i tried there and they said not at the moment. i had an interview for a computer consultancy testing equipment. the interview went very well, the guy was basically saying can you start immediately. Then i got a letter of rejection. Is there any northern ireland member here who wants to employ a student :duh: lol thanks again andrew

Hey guys! I havn't posted on here in ages. I know you people are very knowledageable regarding cars and their mechanics. I own a toyota corolla t3 2003 model. Today i was giving her a wee push, holding the gears while accelerating especially second. While accelerating the most revs I drove to was about 5000 (my redline is about 6200) I dont do that often but have i done any damage to the car? I never do this but sometimes my mate does, accelerating quickly from a cold engine. What would be the most damage that could happenn from doing that? thanks Andrew

hey im sure there are loads of people here who like to keep their cars clean and polished. back to my point: i own a toyota corolla which has been supaguarded, quite frankly i think supaguard is a load of crap. What polishes /wax would you people recommend to polish out swirl marks and give a good wet look shine, bearing in mind cost is an issue. i looked at LexusCarCare.com for stuff, but there is too much to choose from. :shutit: Andrew

it wouldnt really be a car locator but more like what used cars are available at the dealer. and a stcok file of available car at dealer or if not order one. but the payroll would be the complex working database.

i have changed my mind about doing spare car parts as my database. im now thinking of doing a car show room data base. that is keeping a record of new cars, used cars, customers and employees. the database would have search facilities etc. also it would be able to calculate the pay for the exployees that is when a sales person sells a car his or her commision per sale will be added to his/her pay. any suggerstions ANdrew

You will probably remember my previous nagging titled 'Question.' I do apologise but this will be my last thread. As i explained earlier i am going to make a relationial database using m/soft access. What im thinking of is making a database for spareparts. What i mean is the user will be able to choose there model of car e.g gs or is, then choose there model e.g 300,430,200 etc and then type in their desired part or type in their part number or use a scroll down list to pick their part. Once the desired part is chosen and the order button is pressed the computer will then deduct one from the stock and then print out a recipt for the user to have proof of what he or she ordered. My problem lies with the parts and part numbers. What i would like would be if someone could send me a spreadsheet or data base of the part numbers and spare parts. As my ict teacher wants to know what i am doing for my work on monday. Also above i mentioned about it printing a receipt. Will i need to write soem visual c script to make it print once the order button is clicked? Many thanks Andrew
