  1. Thanks! :) Trie earlier but couldnt find the one for 400h... Will have another look :) ta!
  2. Steve just out of interest, where did you get the price from please? For future reference...
  3. Many thanks! :) that's great help! Quite expensive!! :( oh well, gotta swallow it... Thanks again!
  4. Hi huys, noticed this morning that part of my RX400h front grille was snapped off! Spme idiots must have somehow yanked it with such a force! Grrrr... Any idea how much it'd cost me to have it replaced by Lexus Garage please? And do you think this is something my local guy could fix instead of paying the dealers rate? Many thanks! Jake
  5. Thanks!! I called the dealer. The condensation disappeared in the morning. The guy said it's normal and when it doesn't go away even after a couple of dry days that's when I should start worrying :-/ Don't think even if I took it in at its worst state they'd fix it to be honest :(
  6. Many thanks! I bought it as approved used from Lexus dealer so I would hope the warranty is a proper Lexus one. So I'm right to think that this is not supposed to happen to the tail light and it's not normal right?
  7. Hi all, The cold weather this week had made an issue apparent for me, this evening I saw a patch (size of my palm) of condensation inside of my RX400h tail light. I bought the card from a dealer in June. I am pretty sure that this is not supposed to happen? Is this a common issue? And is this expensive to fix? Should this be covered in my 1 year warranty from my dealer? Many thanks for your advice in advance! Cheers Jake
  8. Thanks Steve! Will see how much the dealer quote me tomorrow. Cheers!!
  9. Hi all, I scraped the front right corner of my beloved RX400h trying to park in a tight spot. :( there are some laquer damage (size of my palm). But not deep as it was at less than 2mph. However, what worries me is that, i just noticed that there's a gap of about 1 cm right underneath the left headlight. There's no such a gap on the right hand side. I don't think this kind of body work would've been expected from Lexus. Could the scrape have possibly created such a force to slightly twist the bumper??! And if so how would this be fixed? Would anyone please also share your opinion on how much it is likely to cost to: 1, just respray the paint damage 2, adjust the front bumper (i have parking sensors installed) 3, replace the whole bumpr if that's even neccesary? I'd be forver grateful!! Many thanks in advance!!
  10. Jake, where is your local dealer? I have an 07 which will need a service in March 2013, I still don't know whether to stick with a main dealer or go independent. It's got a FLSH to date, it will be a major service next time and I will probably keep it for 2 years so it will be 7 years old when I sell it. Whatever happens I think I will ring round the main dealers to see what they are charging hence my wondering where your dealer is? It's Lexus Bristol. Good luck :)
  11. Wow, thank you so much Chris!! That's very helpful! I think I am likely to do around 6-7k a year, though I can't get enough of driving it at the moment, so it's likely gonna be more :) i tend to agree that it seems excessive to service it every year, but as it's only 3 years old, it might be a good idea from resell value point of view to have it serviced every year, at least for the next 3 years, which will bring it to the end if my PCP agreement... I am pretty sure i could get cheaper quote from other dealers, but the location is hard to beat. And They Know It!! I think I might have to just bite the bullet. As long as you think the quote isn't too outrageous? Thanks again! Jake
  12. Thanks Chris! In your experience, you reckon it's good value for money? My RX 400h is a 09 reg, with 37k on the clock. The total cost for my next 3 servicings (2 minor and 1 60k major) came to just over £1k. I could get my local toyota to do the servicing to be honest, but as it's a hybrid, thought Lexus dealer might know the car best to service it.
