Hi, My V reg IS200 started juddering badly at 50mph, and then started doing it on tick over. its now only juddering when in drive with the brake applied and at tick over doesn't sound right either. took it to my local garage and they but it on the machine and have come back and told me 5 of the 6 coil packs have failed and the 6th is on the way out. No engine light has come on and the exhaust seems to be smelling too. I have had the car about 6 months its done 105000miles and doesn't have a full service history. Does this sound like coil packs of something else? any ideas why the engine warning light hasn't come on. I have had some issues with power, early starts and acceleration but not too much The garage has quoted me Coil Pack £80 Plug £5.25 Labour £50 totalling just under £700. Is this a good price?
